Just as a couple hints for the situation from my brief time in there before logging out to get ready for work:
1.) Hold X to see quest people amongst the throngs, especially for the new jobs.
2.) At least with the SAM quest, the second one in the line kept event erroring, so you can't do that bit. My recommendation is just to find a training dummy to look at your moves and get them sorted how you like.
3.) Remember that you get an item you can Use that gives you a full set of level 50 armor for the new job. No need to hunt down new stuff if you'd already have it.
That's basically all I did. Got in, checked if any housing plots were open (Nope, if any were relinquished by transfers, they were already taken. Sadfayse), then nabbed SAM and played with it for a bit.
... To be fair, SAM seems pretty fun so far. Can't wait to play with it more later. And RDM on Gogon.
