I'd love to put my character up for this but the only thing standing in my way is that I'll have just barely started up my account and I'm unfamiliar with if a really low level could make it from Ul'dah to where the auction would be.

A trip to Gridania isn't difficult but ranks from 1 to 10 should be careful. Make sure to avoid antlings in Thanalan and be wary of the first monsters you find when entering the Black Shroud. Some are aggressive. Besides that, you should be fine.

It's very likely that someone offers you a port there.

This seems really neat! I'm wary of volunteering (partly because I'm not 100% sure I could make it), but I will certainly attend if possible!

So far we have eleven volunteers, one person who going to get lucky in love, and two guards. Twelve total participants is an excellent response and I appreciate everyone's enthusiasm. I'd love to see at least three or four more people offer up their time, but if you cannot volunteer you can always come out and bid!
