First because it answers the question of how efficacious dragoon jump can actually be in battle (re: extremely), secondly because it shows that the crazy acrobatics and supernatural powers are most definitely not even close to being limited to Midlander and his WoL companions (though granted, Raubhan's fight against Ilbern itself already proved this).

When its an ordinary farmer doing crazy acrobatics with a flaming pitchfork, I will accept that the WoL and Ilbred's abilities are something anyone can do. Until then, I keep my belief that such feats are achieved through luck, supernatural means, or years of dedicated study and training, not something the average nobody just picked up (those dragoons being the best of the best, not low- ranking footsoldiers)

I was pretty excited already but this is just brilliant. I like the part where the Warrior of Light looks out of a window in Ishgard and doves fly by - it's reminiscent of Garnet doing the same thing way back in FFIX in Alexandria.

I was actually thinking the same thing.

I've mentioned it before, but the new area reminds me a lot of Lindblum and areas from FFIX just in general. I'm completely okay with that!

On the subject of dragoons, since I'm sure this topic is so fondly revisited- I'm starting to think it's less of a matter of whether it's possible or how likely it is. While some RPers prefer to have characters that aren't close of such feats, it shouldn't be completely frowned upon. I also don't think -everyone- should be that 'powerful'.

As ever, it's a matter of presentation but I don't think it confirms that suddenly everyone can do it, otherwise they would, right? Clearly some factors are in place, but not nearly as unreachable as people make it out to be.

Also, maybe it's just me that gets crazy amount of gray hairs when I'm stressed. If that chit happened to me and I lived through it, I doubt I'd look half as good as he did.

DRK looks cool, I actually liked the AST more there though. Very excited to see them played more. I may even try to heal for once!
