Having said that, if it were a case of romance then I'd struggle seeing my characters with anyone outside of their race, let alone height differentials. I'm actually with Edvyn in that I've seen far more highlander women than midlanders. Also, the only time I have noticed an excess amount of miqo'te in comparison to other races was at Gold Saucer. I actually wish that there were far less miqo'te around because I find many of them really unattractive to begin with. More on topic though, I don't find either race intimidating and I don't think I have a character(other than a silly lalafel) that would either. Having said that, highlander women just don't look good in cutesy/overly-feminine clothes in my experience. I'm sure there could be exceptions of course!
