Shiv'to has flown for Maelstrom for eight years and currently holds the rank of Sergeant Third Class. He has never disobeyed an order, and follows procedure to the letter. Shiv has a reputation for being a polite, professional, and punctual pilot. There are some grumblings that he rubs elbows with the command staff too much. However his good relationships have guaranteed himself quarters in Maelstrom Command, and certain special privileges.Â

Shiv has trouble empathizing with other people, and seldom offers information about himself besides his profession.Â This has never interfered with his work, but it can make some people feel uncomfortable.Â Most of his relationships are professional, though he does keep a few friends.Â On the side he is an arcanist, which comes in handy for checking crates on his airship. Usually when off duty he can be found at a tavern with a bottle of red wine, which one depends on where he is scheduled to make port for the night. A quick way to get on his good side is to buy him a drink, who doesn't like free drinks?Â

I'm a pretty heavy roleplayer, most of my time in game is spent roleplaying. I'm usually available in the evenings, so around 7:00-10:00 PM EST. Shiv'to is very much a new kind of character for me, because it's the first time I've tried playing a bad character. On the surface it seems like he's a goody two shoes, but in reality he has no morals. So be forewarned, he has the potential to turn nasty in an instant. Obviously if he will attempt to cause harm to your character (unlikely, he's not stupid) I'll ask in /tell first.

I'm a casual role player who just recently return the realm of Role play. I'm normally on during Afternoons, Late nights and early mornings. (Unless I screw up my sleep cycle.) Born to a family of carpenters and blacksmiths who long migrated to Limsa Lominsa in wake of the coming war with Garlea and discontent with the corruption
of their king, Leandir proclaims that he has two homelands, Ala Mhigo and Limsa Lominsa, and that he will fight for both of them when he is needed, without need of coercion. During much of his youth and middle age, Leandir trained in the way of the Marauder and became an Adventurer, known for his great strength
and surprising willpower for what some would think a barbaric way of fighting, which even today in his sixty or so summers has yet to diminish, if not have in fact grown since then. Earning the name Gallantblade through his reputation of aiding small villages against frightful beasts with nothing but his axe, the old veteran has earned quite a reputation amongst others coming along in their years. Nowadays though, he has "retired" from the Adventuring life to serve back home in the Maelstrom with the coming battle against Garlea and the Primals, serving as the Caption of the vessel known as The Lion's Guard. Of course, such a vessel tends to be ran by his second-in-command, for his lust of battle never diminishes, and all too often he is still adventuring through the lands and defending the weak, slaying monsters and skirmishing against the Garleans whenever he can. Ashren moved to Limsa Lominsa nearly a year ago after being forced to go on the lamb. Since then he has taken up permanent residence within the city of privateers. Mostly keeping to himself, he has set up a small shop in Hawker's Alley where he buys and sells pilfered Magitek devices taken from Garlean ships.

Meta Profile
Ashren is a bit hard to approach at times due to the secretive nature of his work (both his business in Limsa, and his position within the Order of Nald'thal back in Ul'dah). This makes him a tad paranoid at times, though despite that he is not lacking for charisma and once you can get close enough to engage him he is quite the charmer.

My FC house is located in Lavender Beds, though despite this I treat my private chamber as being located in Limsa and not an actual part of the rest of the house.

Fina is passionate for alchemy and is quick to ramble at length about the subject if given the chance. However, she's also an amateur researcher with special interest in Dalamud cultists and related academia which has given her a mild adventuring streak that is occasionally satisfied by outings with relic-hunters and mercenaries to ruins in the area.

She's got anÂ unslakableÂ thirst for knowledge, loves to listen to others talk about nearly anything,Â and will pry into your life with questions if you say anything even remotely interesting. Overall presents herself as a happy, competent, curious, and perhaps slightly naive woman.

Though she largely does her best to remain in legitimate business affairs, she has a few loose moral threads if you know where to find and tug on them. Kamome is a fairly recent immigrant to Eorzea who arrived illegally on an illicit trading vessel originating in Doma. She has come to Eorzea and found herself indentured by the privateers she secured passage with. She now works as a heavily-indebted laborer on the docks, trying to pay for her freedom. She fishes and cooks for herself, but hasn't ICly joined the guilds. She also knows how to fight with her fists and with knives from having to fend for herself on the long journey from Doma, but she is not a natural melee fighter at all.

She hates Garleans with a very intense passion and her primary goal in life is to earn her freedom and become an adventurer, having heard the bards sing of the Warriors of Light and their battle with Garlemald. She is very naive about Eorzea (she has lived all her life in a small village) and very much idealizes adventurers.

Inarah is a recent arrival in Limsa, originally hailing from a tribe in the wilds of La Noscea. Her profile isn't very high and she could easily get lost in the crowd.

Khalja is tall, like most males of his race. He is never one to start a small-talk kind of conversation, finding them to be utterly boring. He will only speak if spoken to first, or a conversation interests him.Â

Khalja dedicated himself to helping and healing others the moment he became a scholar. However, due to a lot of stress, he started drinking heavily. He managed to meet a younger Xaela Au Ra by the name of Imani, who happens to be half Elzen. The youth actually takes more after his mother's Au Ra appearance, having horns and a tail while his sisters look completely Elzen. Imani is Khalja's mate in all respects. His drinking problem began to affect his relationship with Imani, so for some time Khalja hauled himself off to the Astrologian's guild where his studies there didn't allow him the time to even think about drinking. They even helped him clean himself up from that addiction, and now even the smell of rum or anyÂ alcoholicÂ beverage makes him sick to his stomach. Â

I live in Central Time, in the United States. I do most of my RPing online, however I haven't had many because I get the feeling that other characters might find Khalja indimidating- he's had his darkness in the past, but now he's a much nicer guy. People shouldn't be too scared to talk to him. Since I'm out of work I've been on more lately, but my subscription might be up and I won't be online there for a while until I can renew it.Â

Khalja is always on the go so it is hard to track him down. If you need a healer for something, he's the one for characters to ask. Depending on what the request is, he may ask for payment of some kind. Most of the time he does his work for free out of the sheer pleasure of helping others. So if you need help, don't be afraid to ask him.Â
