Apologies Jana, I wish I had seen you, however I was attempting to do the same as you and interact after the fight, which ironically enough, I met with the same hardship you did. In fairness, I offered to be a crow to aid in the event and let it play out for others, but Meta had been there prior to the role change. In the end, it was a rather frustrating trying to interact.
The only advice I can offer is try again, and be persistent. Sometimes it pays to have presence over time. Apologies that It didn't go as well as you had hoped. The slowly updated wiki of Meta. |

I had fun during that battle. The person playing the Crow was awesome, and my battle partner (Leanne I think the name was but I may be misremembering, sorry! >.<) was a lot of fun to play with as well but....Before the battle began I was finding it quite hard to get involved in the going ons, and afterwards I was dashing about trying to get involved in any post RP I could, because I'd really like to get more involved when it comes to RP on FFXIV.
Over all, I do echo the previous sentiments, the event itself was loads of fun but as a new player, trying to get involved in the actual roleplay going on was a bit difficult. |

At least I'm not the only one that felt that way. I'd like to take some time to calm down before I say anything else, though.
Edit: I think I'm calm enough to put to words how I feel about the matter. I think some people went to the event and immediately left to be with their own contacts as soon as they could feasibly get out of it. I can't really blame anyone for that. But it feels like I - and apparently not just me - am just being pushed aside, since we're not already involved in whatever other stories the more popular characters have already gotten themselves wrapped up in. I'm not saying the "in" crowd has to ignore what they've got to handhold newer RPers, and I would never ask anyone to drop what they were doing just to RP with me. But maybe plots like tonight's are just too over-crowded to get any meaningful development for player characters that don't already have all these involved contacts to run off with afterwards, so maybe we should try to get in touch between event nights more (I've tried a bit, but haven't had luck) instead of having to find something else to do and get out of the way. |

Even though I noticed that no one was actually tending to your wounds or any other people as well (I think it's also because there were literally too many people in there with non-participants too) so the logs have just clumped up that they probably didn't notice reading yours too :/
I have no excuse on the matter for this, Â I personally had to go OOCly so I had to cut my dialogues with Erik, Meta and Lilith (and also I didnt talk with the rest either) but I admit I should also have said something about your character requiring to treat wounds. So I'll apologize for that. If there were people who were chatting ICly for events and you are also chatting through LS/FC, I suggest you to at least set up your chat settings to only allow /say and /em and not anything else. Because chances are that your LS/FC chats are spamming up the chat log. |

Hey Jana and Lilith, I would be happy to have some rp's with you two to get you drawn in.  I'm sorry it has taken so long. Unfortunately my work schedule has been crazy hectic with some reorganization going on and I haven't been able to devote nearly as much to this event as my last ones cause of it and for that I am sorry. ( I just got done with a 63 hour work week  )
I logged off almost right after event due to RL things and wasn't able to have Askier swing by. Â I'll be on later today and will poke you both with a tell and try to help catch you up to speed IC and make sure you are both ready and set for next event. |

Jana, I'm sorry..I wanted to meet you before the fight so our chars could officially meet up. But since the numbers were off Iron got to be the first one downed. I think I was literally the last one out since I was being healed by the altar forever..and then had to be rehealed since the didn't treat the wounds right the first time.
Please set up a time we can meet up, Iron saw her in the assembled, and will want to talk...er..write. He can't talk for now! I will agree tho that the groupings seemed to branch off and depart without much unity, Edda Kale and Leanne and Lilith stayed with me..Honzo too, but everyone else was like..pffft..another dead Roe. lol. We should all interact and get to know eachother more as a team if we are to combat the crows together. there has to be a meshing so we have unity. Jana, seriously tho, message me in game. I'm on vacation this week and WILL make time for you. |

Truth be told, beyond ULDAH Iron only really knows Anelia in that group. It's why he was getting pissy at the start, like who the heck are these blokes? What do they all know?
While Askier is putting the work into the bad guy end of this event, let's get together and work out our own end..Iron has his def reasons for wanting to put an end to this..but he isn't clear on why or who anyone else is... |

Sorry some of you felt neglected, in the future if someone puts out a call on the Immortal Flames LS for medical attention, I will come. Unfortunately, since I have to show up as a villain for the events, Alexei isn't aware when these events occur, but he will certainly come post event and play doctor if told.
Those of you who'd like to meet a Crow sometime, shoot me a PM or message me in game, I'm often on and we can set something up. |

Wow, I got a lot of replies on my busy day, so I'm sorry for not responding sooner.
The general vibe I'm getting is that OOC communication kinda failed and I got the wrong impression off of that, which is why I don't personally agree with your set-up for an RP tab, Aldotsk. I keep the RP LSes visible in mine as well, since they already don't get anywhere near as much activity as my OOC LS/FC. I've always valued them as tools to try and get people together to RP and to communicate OOC-ly once the RP has already begun, so I admit I'm a bit perplexed when people say they can't read them during a scene. I wouldn't want to be sending tells to 10 people during a big event like this anyway! Anyway, I'll keep being online during the week, and I'll pop in tonight too. Thanks for taking the time to address my fears! |

I'm always happy to RP and would love to get more involved. In fact, Meta and I were going to try and get in touch with Iron Sea to see about getting hired on to help deal with this little problem. They are mercenaries after all.
my online time has been a bit spotty this past week, but I'm generally online most days of the week. |

I was not there so I cannot speak for anyone, but I could almost guarantee if anyone felt ignored it was most likely due to one of two things:
1.) lots of chat scrolling - even for those who are used to skimming for pertinent information, sometimes things fall through the cracks. 2.) chat 'nom'-ing? - Sometimes the filters will eat someone's post for no good reason. Even if you see it on the screen, others may not have simply because it didn't actually go through. Bad first impressions are hard to get over, but I hope this one won't stop you from future participation! |

I'm game. I'll be around a bit this week hopefully. Iron was being cooped up in his FC house from getting made into a human quiver, but he is already back to sneaking out.
He met up with Jana last night and broke things down for her, also to give some direction..so if that pair is looking for him he isn't too hard to find ( meaning whisper me and I'll drop the big lug somewhere. Usually the Quicksand, but recently the Limsa fishing docks since he is working an angle there. ) Either way, I'm down for building up a network and group to Crow hunt. Iron can certainly be used as a gateway for people to get info, and plan how to go about further. Askier, if you want need any angles worked message me! |
