I got official word today that my promotion to a supervisor position in my job was approved. While that might bite into my play-time a bit (it'll be a 3pm to midnight shift), I'm really looking forward to getting started. Big Grin

Even better, a VERY OBVIOUS idea was brought to my attention for RP in this very forum by people who are way brighter and more lovely at this than I am.

Good damn day so far, I must say. ^^

Got my summer schedule.

As an employee of the local school system, I get 4 weeks off during the summer - the last week of June and almost all of July.

Also, found out that since we go to 4-day workweeks during June - 7-5 M-Th - I will be officially off on Heavensward's early access say.

So... hell yeah.

Im getting another dog Monday to add to my canine family. Had gave one away to a friend who was leaving the country as a remembrance gift. Now I must save another dog from a pound because why not.Â

I must stay at 2 dogs forever.

Car's back from the shop. They had to replace the back door entirely, along with the bumper and some of the interior frame... but got it all done in under four days. I dropped it off Tuesday at around 4pm, picked it up at about the same time today. So the fallout of a bad week has all but resolved itself in the span of another week.

Pretty swank.

I woke up in time to get some piano practice in before work. During a part I was struggling in my brain just 'clicked' and I understood what I was supposed to be doing...and my fingers could do it. It was pretty amazing!

I decided to try my luck at being a tank. I'm a huge fan of classes that use swords and heavy armour but usually I do so as a DPS where possible. Since that isn't an option in FFXIV I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and so far it's not been nearly as terrible as I initially feared.

Of course, as luck would have it when I queued up for a random low level dungeon after getting to level 40 purely through other means I ended up getting thrown into Qarn followed by Cutter's Cry. I was expecting something like Satasha to ease me into things but despite being thrown into the deep end it was quite the success!

Well done. Quarn and Cutters require some nice tanking.

The whole game takes your hand and builds the experience for PvE, even end-game stuff does this (but with deadly consequences). So bypassing and jumping in later content can be a omgomgomg... I am do tank.. eeek! moments.

I surprisingly found that my bank account had 6â‚¬ left that I did not remember of! I immediately ran to the store to buy some food for my cats and a bottle of water of myself. I was at the last cat food can and with only half a bottle of water left and didn't really know how to make us survive till this month's check would arrive (should be in a couple days) >_<... I've spent the last week consuming all the scattered reserves around the house because of no money, and even had to eat some expired stuff to get by.

Amazing how so little money can mean so much.

Glad to see all these positive things that happened to people!

I have been quiet and down for while, for reasons, but now back to normal. But let's not focus on that!

Well... Good things that happened to me is that I started working at new construction site, street maintenance. Now I finally work on surface instead underground in summer and I can enjoy sun too ^^
