On Tuesday Dec. 16 at 7:30pm US Central time, The Rum'n Rumble beachside tavern cordially invited applicants to attends its first ever Speed-dating event!
We politely request filling out the following form if you wish to attend in order for us to properly organize our participants for the best possible matches.Â
"What is speed dating?" you ask whislt crying into your Alone Forever brand personal ice cream tub? Why, the answer couldn't be simpler!
Speed dating is a way for seeking singles to meet a large number of others who are, like themselves, looking for companionship in a short period of time.Â
"But how does it work?" you sob into your single pillow on your single-sized bed? Why, with event organizers such as the experts[sup]1[/sup]Â at the Rum 'n Rumble!
Each participant is paired with another for a fifteen minute interview with the other, during which time you can chat, learn a bit about the other, or simply gaze into the person's eyes and make terrified honking sounds[sup]2[/sup]. The Rum 'n Rumble suggests coming prepared with deep and thought-provoking questions ahead of time such as:
- "What is your name?"
- "Are you a boy or are you a girl or are you one of those Roegadyn ladies from Ul'dah that we all hear about[sup]3[/sup]?"
- "Were you allowed to change one thing about yourself right now, what would it be and why?"
- "If pressed, do you believe you could subdue a coeurl with only your bare hands and a toothpick?"
- "What is the first thing you notice about a person when you see them?"
- "What do you think is the most important value in a relationship?"
- "Who was your hero, as a child?"
- "Are you capable of bearing children, and if so how many children can you bear before you fall under the weight of them all?"
- "Which is the one job in the world that you would love to do?"
- "Would you perhaps like to go to a ball with me later in the month?"
At the end of each date, the card you will have been given with the person's name can be marked as a yes or a no. Should you wish to talk to the other person again, choose yes! Should you wish the man or woman you'd just spoken with be devoured by a voidsent, choose no.
We hope to see romance or at least lots of drinking on Tuesday the 16th at 7:30pm Central at Rum 'n Rumble, Mist Ward 5, plot 20.
While the Rum 'n Rumble believes in creating somewhat entertaining advertising, this is actually intended as a serious event, and we hope you turn up.
