The release of this new patch won't prevent anyone from completing the content of previous patches right?

Had my first dice fight in this game. Had IMMENSE fun. So I'm definitely glad I won't have to alt-tab between website and game. :3

This is never the case. The only instance where you are locked out of content is if you haven't purchased an expansion. Expansion isn't until 3.0, so you're fine.

I love that they're rolling out content so quickly, as opposed t just fixing bugs and leaving everything to the expansion.

Thinking about the dice roll command, it is my fondest, hopefullest wish that it doesn't just look like an emote. It would be completely impossible to use that in the game with any seriousness if someone could just write /em rolls a 98! and have it look identical.

You guys got this right in FFXI. Don't mess it up!
