There is a thirty minute to three hour window for getting characters in. Though I'd caution everyone to avoid waiting until awhile after they open and zerg your characters into the game ASAP. Make sure to set your alarm ten minutes or so early, I've heard that it comes up a couple minutes before the scheduled finish, sometimes.
