that right there is another problem i have xD i get absorbed in something and then it's like 4am and i have to be up at 6:30 o____O;;;

Yes! I'm on medical leave but when I work I'm up at 6 and will find myself saying "Hm.. I'll turn everything off at 11:30 and sleep like a good--OMG it's 5:30! HOW?!"

:O I think I'd leap out of my skin if I missed work due to not hearing the alarms. I have multiple alarms as well, like when to wake up, when to really wake up this time, and when my feet should be heading out the door.

I suffer a lot from insomnia. However I am quite aware the issue stems a lot through depression related stress and inactivity, paired with anxiety around a phobia.

I have crippling emetophobia to the point I hang onto negative related experience in the strangest ways. Once I took a nap after work many years ago, and woke up to suffer the effects of norovirus. I have had a lot of trouble falling asleep since then.

Sometimes I find leaving on an ambient sound or song helps, to quell the brain chatter with a positive focal point. Sometimes I lie still and pay mind to every body part, reminding myself they all feel fine. Little things.

Hopefully with a bit of work and technique, we may all find  a resolution for sleeplessness.

I've been dealing with PTSD related insomnia for a few years now. I'm also very sensitive to changes in temperature whilst sleeping and sudden noises serve to jolt me awake. It can be a very frustrating experience but I've adjusted to it as best I can.

I usually try to have a nap when I've the time to spare since it can help tide me over until the next time my body decides to allow me to get some sleep.

Oh that really sucks, I'm sorry to hear that. Sad

I get night terrors and have a hard time falling to sleep afterwards, and sometimes in general, because I get so worried about having more terrors. I can't nap (try, but almost always just end up staring at the ceiling) and want to go to bed early but I get a second wind at around 8 pm so keep staying up late. The past few months have been particularly bad. I was up til 5 am the other night... Why yes, I am fuelled purely by caffeine, why do you ask?

that sounds really rough you three.....i thankfully don't get bad dreams or night terrors (though i did wake up in a panic today) i can't imagine being exhausted to sleep but still be afraid to due to what happens during dreams :c

on a good note; i managed to catch a few hours this afternoon. woke up about five (hence the panic) thought i had missed picking up my daughter from school and only realized i had already done that and sent erik off to work when i saw he was gone and she was taking a nap in her room with the baby. >n<;;
