What time zone do you play in What level of RP are you after light,medium,heavy? Is your character generally good or evil What is the main IC aim of your character in one sentence? Just some basics that may match you to a FC. I would also look at the Linkshell section on these forums, a lot are also FC. You will get an idea what is on offer and may spot a few you like. Tell us about your character. Who are they? What's their story? You say they're good, but what does that mean? What sorts of things do they do well? What are their weaknesses? Their likes? Dislikes? Etc. Giving everyone a well rounded view of your character will be more likely to tell people that you fit in with what you've got going. For example, I could answer all of those questions in the same way you did: Alothia is good a mercenary a mage She seeks to help others, do good, and be friendly. I play in EST. That really doesn't give you any idea as to who my character is. But, if I say: Show Content Spoiler Alothia Starkwood is a miqo'te woman who has lived a long and fruitful life, but one peppered with drama and intrigue. She has been the owner of a small company, girlfriend to a number of different men, friend to many people, and woman who takes time to get to know people from all walks of life. At 26 years of age, she acts much more mature in some aspects than one would think, but not without an ample amount of immaturity to make up for it. She enjoys a good dirty joke or story, enjoys making her friends get flustered because of awkward situations, and generally has a wild sense of humor. Personality: Being raised by the Maelstrom grand companygave Irvine a sense of family and people he wants to protect. Through his rigorous training Irvine became a mercenary among the Maelstrom. He seeks to venture out to other lands to seek greater power to protect the people he loves, discover secrets of his past, and find his long lost sister. Irvine is dedicated and hard working. He is very curious,friendly, and laid back. Despite his laid back demeanor he is compassionate- willing to risk his life for those suffering. He generally likes to ask a lot of questions and learn aboutother people and cultures; but maintains an air of mystery and distance in fear of being abandoned and/or taken advantage of. History: Irvine grew up in an orphanagelocated in the outskirts of Eorzea called “The Haven” along with his younger sister, Camille. He does not know his parents or where he comes from. One dreadful night a band of marauders invaded and burned down the orphanage. The marauders killed everyone, but the Sparks siblings. The moment the marauders were to about kill the seven year old Irvine as he held his crying five year old sister in his arms. The two siblings awoken their hidden ocular abilities. In Irvine’s left eye awoke  the sharingan, powerfuldojutsu descended from long extinct Uchiha tribe, that grants the user powerful abilities. In Camille’s right eye awoke the Rinnegan, an ancient power dojutsu , that also grants the user powerful abilities.   With their awoken powers the siblings went into a ragefilled frenzy and killed every one of the marauders. Both passed out in exhaustion with no memory of what they had happened that night. They were the only survivors of the marauders’ rampage . In the morning sensing great power coming from that area the Maelstrom & Twin elder grand companies sent soldiers to investigate the area. The solders found nothing ,but twounconscious children lying among the rumble, debris, and dead bodies.  The great power they had sensed were comingfrom the children. The soldiers couldn't let their great power lay waste. They casted lots and divided the children. With that the two siblings were separated. Irvine went to Limsa Lominsa and was raised by the Maelstrom grand company. Camille went to Gridinia and was raised by the Twin Adder grand company. Azrael X
