Is this limited to FC? I belong to OOC RP LSes, but not FCs. FC is purely IC.

I'll second Kyri's suggestion about doing it in forums. If we do it as a single live event, we're limiting who can participate. If we do it as a linkshell with the summit happening over time, we're running into linkshell limitations and also missing out on cross-timezone interaction. Using a forum means people can participate as time permits and have conversations that cross timezones and stretch out over as much time as needed.

I'd personally want to keep this separate from a recruitment fair. A summit of FC leaders is clearly focused on promoting cross-FC RP. A recruitment fair, on the other hand, is focused on something else entirely.

Dark Embers would attend if something were set up and it didn't conflict with our event nights (Sun/Wed/Sat). The question we have is whether you'd want all of our leadership to show up, or just a couple of representatives; we do roundtable leadership, so both leaders and officers are in on everything - that's currently just four people, but we figured we'd ask about it.

So I take the lack of answer as a yes, this will be limited only to RP FCs, and keep RP LSs out? Isn't that a bit restrictive? RP LSs usually host a wider amount of roleplayers than RP FCs do (since to join an RP FC, you have to leave another FC, you can only have one, or maybe you're just the type that doesn't want to have any FC). As I said, I do RP with both FC and LS, but our FC is only a smaller part of our universe. Like, to make a comparison, whereas our RP LS is "Hydaelyn", our RP FC is "The Star Onion Brigade in Hydaelyn". It includes only a small amount of what our RP LS has, because the LS, unlike the FC, can host even RPers who do not want to part with their FC to join ours.

I hope that made sense.

But if it's really just FC-restricted, it's fine. I'd just like an answer.

I'm interested to know this as well, since the Rendezvous of Stars FC is built to support the Rendezvous of Stars LS. (As an RP sub-community, we do not require players to join our FC to participate, but our LS is about 50 members strong. ^^ )

So, even if we were attending as representatives from the Rendezvous FC, we would be speaking on behalf of our LS as well, since that is what encompasses our entire sub-community.

This is meant to be a FC event. I understand the want/need to not be restrictive but it is a FC event none the less. There is nothing keeping you from doing a similar event if you wish.

It is not meant to be restrictive anymore then making another event for a certain group of people or another. The fact is simply that FCs cover a broad and defined range, while LSs are more relaxed. I chose to set the event for FCs for those reasons.
