"Hey everyone,

Unfortunately I wasn't able to remain for the Date Auction that I was hosting the other day. Had a family emergency that resulted in my mother...not being with us anymore. I am telling you all this because I will be having a funeral for her and I would be so grateful for anyone that is able to attend. She was a strong-willed, beautiful women, even for her age."

OOC details:

Host: Fujimoto Kaito
The Departed: Z'Sushmo(Fuji's Mother)
Date & Time: Sunday March 29, 2015 at 8p central time
Location: Eastern Thanalan,
 Church of Saint Adama Landama
Attire: Dress appropriately. Black dress Attire only

This is a RP based on progression for my character. Pushing his storyline forward more.

*frowned as she received word about the tragedy. She decided she would try to make it and show support if she was able to*

(I'll try to make it, that's also my big bro's Bday but knowing him, he will eat, drink and fall asleep anyway.)

*Grunted as he read the missive. He'd dealt with Kaito a couple of times previously during the date auctions. The Miqo'te knew how to make gil, and Ludovich could respect that. He didn't know the old lady but his presence at the funeral might help his standing. Besides, he knew what it was like to lose a mother.

(I should be there as well!)

(My RP group is currently taking refuge in the Church of Saint Landama, and will be there for the next two weeks so real-time, so I'll likely be there to see this. My condolences both OOC and IC)).

To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.

"What makes a strong character is how they deal with their flaws, their fears, their turmoils, their troubles that get in the way. That's what makes them relatable." -- N.C.
