Neat. So if this is an OOC meeting, I'll attend as Clement Janvier. If it's an IC meeting, I'll be bringing the actual leader of my little FC along. I didn't feel like combing through this whole thread but I did read the first post... still not sure if it's an IC or an OOC meeting.

Ok, for those of you in the older set, you'll get the phrase, I don't want to sound like a broken record, but seriously guys. I'm not going to try anymore to convince people this is nothing more then an infomercial for FCs. I to have been in a lot of mmo rp communities. And where the lessons you took from such places is that such events are worthy of suspicion, the lessons I have taken is that once fear and paranoia and conspiracy theories pop up, rpers who hook into them cannot be convinced otherwise. So I'm not going to try.

I've posted the itinerary in which there is no place for any sort of debate, gotten a trusted person to oversee the event and safeguard it from going wrong, limited the time of the intermission to just big enough for a bathroom break, and over all tried to be as diplomatic as possible. I am done now.

This is an event thread, not a discussion thread. I have said that a few times too now, and I'm surprised some people who should know better are trying to derail the thread and take it off topic. If you seriously think this is the end of the world or some underhanded thing, then by all means, take it to the RP Discussion, hell you even can call it the Summit of FCs whatever thread. The point of this thread is for people attending to state they are so I can keep a list, and for me to post updates. There are a few RP events and FCs I'll be honest with, I have a problem with. But as a respectful adult you don't see me busting into their Linkshell or Event threads and telling them I think they or their ideas dumb/dangerous. I would like the same respect, especially from those who should know better or are held to a higher standard via community standing.

Now I will be clear, I'll change the title if I have to to be clear.

THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION THREAD, THIS IS AN EVENT PLANING THREAD. IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THIS EVENT YOU HAVE SEVERAL GOOD OPTIONS, DON'T GO, MAKE A SEPARATE DISCUSSION TOPIC, BLACKLIST ME, WHATEVER. THE OPTION YOU DO NOT HAVE IS TO COME IN HERE AND SPIT OUT THE SAME PARANOIA OVER AND OVER AS IS IS TAKING THE EVENT THREAD OFF TOPIC, AND LAST I HEARD THAT WAS AGAINST THE RULES HERE. SOMEONE LOCKED A THREAD RECENTLY BECAUSE TWO OR THREE POSTS WERE OFF TOPIC. I DON'T CARE IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE EVENT AND WANT TO DISCUSS HOW ITS A BAD IDEA, GREAT I FOUGHT FOR YOUR FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION, BUT PLEASE TAKE IT TO A THREAD OTHER THEN THIS EVENT THREAD. PLEASE.

Its all ooc, doing things like this ic cost time and make no sense as some fcs are ooc based. I'll put you down.

Little update, we have an archivist, a nice way of saying person doing the streaming, Nailah Quill. And there will also be a "photographer", Y'uraq Tia. And before you ask, yes of course you can screencap in the meeting, Y'urag will just be grabbing shots of the event for the thread, as most including myself will be part of a delegation, and it would be rude for all of us to move around as people speak their peace, a photographer who was not part of a delegation seemed like a good idea.

As for location, two FCs have offered so I will talk with both and check out their places and post up in a few days where it will be.
