Imogene knows the public story with Sultana's sickness and Raubahn murdering a Syndicate member, suspects something much deeper and worse has happened, and may or may not know more about the truth but keeps quiet about it. For the time being she stays away from Ul'dah and encourages her friends to do the same until things quiet down a little.

I actually have some concerns about what I should do about this. I just finished the story, and I may need some advice.
This may or may not have big implications for my character. Long story short, Ryanti's family is heavily invested in the marketplace in Ul'Dah with the family business, as well as his family having root in Ul'Dah for many of the more recent generations. They also have had multiple generations of his family members being in the military, the Flames specifically. Business-wise, I doubt anything would change. Subjugation is a painfully slow and drawn out process when it comes to an entire city state. So as far as the family business goes of producing and selling cutlery, flatware and tableware, I don't think that will be too affected by anything. Especially considering that it is branching out to other city-states, even though their headquarters are in Ul'Dah.. However... Ryanti's family is on the Royalist side, and Ryanti's father was a Bloodsworn before he retired. Would his father be at that banquet? I doubt it but... would he know someone who was? Would that mean Ryanti would know something? Perhaps. The Veanysus family isn't the wealthiest but definitely has centuries invested in Ul'Dah. Ryanti normal job is peacekeeping.. your every day routine enforce of Ul'Dah and it's property. Though, it would be more realistic to think that, in his invisible Black Label unit (Or his real job..) Ryanti would find his steady pace of mission prerogatives suddenly... stopping. As in, no one is giving him orders anymore. More suspicious is that my character had requested a leave before, but now he will notice that the orders aren't coming after the leave. What's worse is that I have been implying that the top secret unit that Ryanti is a part of, served as a more militaristic force that is ultra-secretive, that aides the Sons of Saint Coinach as well as Ul'Dah; as a joint force. I kind of have no idea what to do. If his unit is meant to serve the Syndicate now, that directly violates the protocol of Ryanti's unit. (As I am still in the middle of writing this unit out and I have ideas for a possible LS or something smaller.) I was going to make a thread about this eventually, but this riles things up a bit. So, currently speaking as far as my character goes, he is wondering... why aren't the orders coming? Why am I waiting longer than I should be waiting? Would his father know something? I have a question as well: Judging from the cutscenes, it did look like at least the area outside of Ul'Dah was quickly becoming an absolute riot. Is Ul'Dah rioting right now? Or was that all a temporary thing? |

Though you may be loath to claim this IC, there's a good chance that Pipin would rally troops from the flames, and while he might not be the General, I'm fairly sure that a lot of them would also respect him. It was more that you had a combination of the Crystal Braves and the Brass Blades looking for the WoL and Alphinaud and doing their damndest to find him. It was a lynch mob, not a riot. |

Well for Cyneler Being Sultansworn he would be left in the Dark about the truth but if he started Snooping around to find the truth He would most likely be Silenced by assassins for knowing too much.

Romy, having resigned from the Sworn in disgrace weeks ago, would most likely be hunting in Coerthas and Gridania, tired of people and politics, and scared of actively fighting people. So, once the dragons started doing their thing at the steps of faith she would have rushed to Whitebrim, Dragonhead or the Gates of Judgement to aid in helping the wounded with her very basic healing and field medic skills. Think war-time nurse at a triage camp. Therefore, she has no clue what's going down in the Jewel. Otherwise she'd be dead or in irons for trying to give the General a hand.

Interesting to see everyone's reactions here. I had a friend screaming at me on skype during it while I was a little behind. It was motivating to say the least.
Since I don't have a deeply entrenched character in anything related to current RP I remain unaffected as a RPer. In some ways, I'm unhappy, others I'm grateful cuz it's a lot to consider. But that's a good thing, right? I have a few friends I can observe until until I can really jump into the story in Heavensward. When I have the right lore, I can figure something out, if need be. I found myself a little more caught up in the well being of certain characters, since I'm biased as hell. Yda, Papalymo mostly. I liked Raubahn's scenes. The warrior bit of him coming out is somewhat typical to most I'm sure, but I found it quite pleasing to see. The only problem was the voice actor for Ilberd is Batou from Ghost in the Shell, and I couldn't get it out of my head. Don't get me wrong, he did well and it was enjoyable, my mind just wanders. Also, Yugiri is smokin' hot. |

The sweet face of the monarchy, the symbol of stability and continuity in Ul'dah is imperiled. A member of the Syndicate is dead: murdered. The most famous Ala Mhigan in the city is imprisoned for murdering him. Dangerous, deadly things are afoot: the scent of chaos, disorder, and coup.Â
This adds to the already heady anti-Ishgardian atmosphere due to the Scales plot (I realize that is only canon for those of us accepting it, but it is so for Aya). The city is looking as uninviting, as unfriendly, and unsafe as it ever has. Aya's conversations with an old Ishgardian acquaintance has opened old wounds. Things are not well; things are not peaceful. Aya is worried, but has nowhere to go. |

I want to learn more foreign nations, to be honest. Flynt's definitely foreign, but I just couldn't pinpoint a location where I want him to be from.

It took me quite a while to reach an acceptable outcome for what happens to Leanne come the MSQ ending. In fact, her problem will not be majorly with Ul'dah or the Sultana's fate (though as how rumors tend to spread, she will be fairly certain that the monetarists did something to her.), but about the Brass Blades/Crystal Braves. Leanne is a known adventurer in Revenant's Toll, with connections to a lot of the citadel's elements (Adventurer's Guild, Scions of Seventh Dawn, Rowena and Sons of Saint Coinach), and even worked with the Warrior of Light during two stances (first with the exploration of the Crystal Tower, second with the call to arms for Ishgard). With such thing in mind, what is most probable: Leanne is now a wanted person by the Crystal Braves. Doesn't help the fact that Leanne has a history of attrition with the Brass Blades. Since they're working in tandem, it is very well possible that the Brass Blades are once more on to her.
Now, about the Ul'dah issue. Leanne already had a taste of what the Monetarists can do. Certain rumors will be like facts to her mind. Sultana ill? Most likely incapacitated by the monetarists in some manner. Raubahn being jailed? Raubahn discovered the conspiracy, killed Teledji, and the monetarists swoop in and incapacitated him too. Scions and WoL, her heroes, are partly to blame?! Holy shit, why so much conspiracy!!! Certain points of hatred that were quenched are now reignited, turning her interaction with any Ul'dah Monetarist extremely contentious (and dangerous!). "Forever walking forward, towards the ever distant horizon."
