*THIS IS PURELY A SPECULATION THREAD, Â OBVIOUSLY WE WILL FIND OUT MORE WHEN THE GAME COMES OUT! I STILL LOVE TO SPECULATE!*
that said. What's your take on Dark Knights? Are they similar to the rogue's guild? A clandestine group of people who mete out justice in accordance to a code?
or is it more Marvel/DC's New York City/Gotham, anyone can be a Dark Knight as long as they put on a funny costume and fight for their version of justice?
I personally hope its the latter, it will lead to more nuanced RP, any Dark Knight's "Justice Killing" will have to be scrutinized, will lead to conflict and schisms between Ishgardians and outsiders a like. Some Dark Knights could find themselves more sympathetic to the heretics, seeing Ishgard as too rotten to be saved.
the former.... eh, if they run a code, knowing how Square's been at it, their code is going to be, for all intents and purpose, objectively good aligned. So its hard to do conflict beyond "STOP BREAKING THE LAW, ASSHOLE!" And leaves the enemies of Dark Knights primarily to the most lawful of lawful goods. I know Orrin would be a silent supporter in this particular case
