Looking back, it almost seems as if your successes were the result of nothing more than a roll of the dice against an arbitrary random number, with no actual input on your behalf. That's why I don't really do the Grindstone. If I want to contemplate the futility of life, I'll make myself some coffee, smoke some clove cigarettes, and listen to Joy Division like a normal person.
