RPC has moved! These pages have been kept for historical purposes

I am a bit at a loss. I registered here because I can't seem to log in on the wiki to fix/update any of my characters or even my user account for A.R.R...

My User account was Ujima and my chars in the rpc library are gone:

Tabitha Jones ( Miqo'te )
Maliea Kohlpaka ( Miqo'te )
Lorelei Nightshade ( lalafell female )

I noticed in the updated library that even Aioxin, someone who has passed away ( god rest her soul ) is still there but my chars are all gone. Is there any way to get my account and characters back on the wiki or do I have to reload them up alover on a different account...

I searched and even googled for an answer before I came here and I didn't see a questions section of the forum and since this is a welcome/question section, I thought maybe I should just put it here...

after I get this situated, I'll post a proper introduction but right now, all of my pictures and stories are gone...

Hi Maliea. We indeed did move to a new wiki (and are about to do so again). It was necessary in order to get past a bunch of spaghetti code accumulated over 2 years. The old wiki with your stuff still exists, though it's not in use and is only still up for this very reason Big Grin

There was a purge done several months back and I'm afraid some of that information may have been lost, or perhaps it's still backed up somewhere (Kylin could probably tell you for sure), but you may have to re-post some of that. Disregard. Kylin's totally on the ball~

Regardless, we're always glad to see folks returning to the RPC, so welcome back! I am looking forward to reading more about your characters.

oh em gee thank you so much. ; ; i was really heartbroken when I tried to get my pages back ; ; *huggles so much* One more thing. How do I relog into my user account tho..? it kept saying my passwords were wrong and there's not a way to recover it from what I looked into...

That wiki pulls your username/password based on whatever it was on the old RPC forums. I couldn't tell you that info unfortunately, though you shouldn't need it. You can go to the page and click "view source" to see all the formatting code as a guest for easy copy/pasting.

The current wiki is the same way. It uses your old forum account info for a login. So unless you have an old account still active here, you won't be able to login to it yet. I'd suggest keeping your profile on a text editor or something until the updated wiki is put up, in which case you just login as you would these forums. I know it's all rather confusing. The wiki transition is a mess right now xD. It'll all be worked out soon enough.

Alternatively, you can just PM myself or post here with what you want on the current wiki and we'll copy/paste it for you.
