Wanted to give a quick update on how things are currently going.
The concept for the Company has changed. No longer are we a Free Company. After much debate and decision; the officers and I, have decided to shift the greater story for the FC. With all that has happened between the amount of debt that the Company has incurred icly, the harassment from the Empire (seriously; it's collapsed 3 times due to the Empire. Once; the initial destruction at the 2.0 battle, a second time with the collapse of the company back during 2.1 or so, and the recent attack), the death of Argent (one of our officers icly)... etc. etc. C'sien has decided to take on the offensive and join the Maelstrom officially. With the company being so small and threatened by imperials, there was little choice on an IC level than to close it's doors officially on 9.2.15. Considering the plotline, it has made the shift rather seamless and should allow us to expand and explore more suitable themes. We are aware that some characters may have difficulties with the shift; this being said- C'sien has offered severance to those who cannot follow their path to become privateers. Those that are full time and wish to continue will be given a place on the crew. Unfortunately on a part time level; this will ultimately have to cease as there really isn't 'part time military/pirates' so much lore wise. However, this is not to say that we will cut off people who are part time employees; you're more than welcome to join us on adventure (temp. commissioned) and pub nights. Should you have any questions please feel free to make a comment here or PM me, or comment on our skype channel. Ps. At this time; we will not be renaming the guild as it will remain as "Heart of Coeurl" until 3.1. The name of the ship will be forth coming. Thanks! -Fox
