Field music: Azys Lla hands down. I get so pumped when going through that zone! Coerthas Western Highlands daytime is a close second. Man...that music is so sad. Love it.

Dungeon music: A toss up between Pharos Sirius and The Vault. Pharos is...well, Pharos. I really love how the Vault music changes to sound more muffled the higher up you go.

Field or Dungeon Battle Music: The Heavensward final dungeon boss music! AHHH SO GOOD.

Raid music: Alexander. I can play that on repeat for literally hours and still keep going.

Raid Boss Music: BOTH ALEXANDER BOSS TRACKS AAAAGHHHH.

Primal Battle: Phase 2 Ravana. Yeah, sure, Titan's theme is great and all but THAT VOICE THO.Â

Too much music. Too much good. Cannot decide.

I like Azys La for field, Amdapor Keep NM for dungeon intro, and Bismark for trials. T9 for best boss music I guess, I just like the coil songs for general-combat themes.

T9 is some of the most fun I've had in this game. Both phases will be impossible to forget.

Spoiling since they include the fights themselves too. But yeah, one of the few things that made all my failed Alex runs tolerable. So catchy.

I absolutely love the A4 music, but aside from that? I do like both phases of Leviathan's fight, though I don't actually know the track names :c

Favorite Non town theme: Matoya's Cave (them nostalgia feels)

Favorite NPC/Character Theme: Tie between Canticle and Hildibrand Theme.

Favorite Raid (non boss) Theme: World of Darkness (more nostalgia feels)

Favorite Town Theme: Ul'dah at night.

Favorite Primal Theme: Three way tie between Garuda, Ravana (both songs) and Shiva (first song).

Favorite Raid Boss Theme: Tie between Phoenix and Nael. Coil, y u so good music.

Favorite Mount Theme: Discounting the primal ones, Magitek Armor's Terra remix.

Favorite Dungeon Theme: Sastasha Hard Mode. Dat pirate beat.

Favorite NPC/Character Theme: Canticle, Dreams Aloft, Dewdrops & Moonbeams.

Favorite Raid (Non Boss) Theme: Syrcus Tower (Calm).

Favorite Quest Related: Crystal Tower Ending (Eternal Wind).

Favorite Town Theme: Ishgard Night Theme (Foundation).

Favorite Primal Theme: Tie between Garuda, Ramuh, Shiva (Phase 1).

Favorite Raid Boss Theme: Alexander Boss Theme.

Favorite Mount Theme: Magitek Armor's Terra Remix.

Favorite Dungeon Theme: Tam-Tara Deepcroft HM or Snowcloak.

The field music for the Churning Mists has taken its place as my absolute favorite! I've been known to dump gil on a teleport there just to soak in the sounds and atmosphere on my griffin.Â

I love field music / map themes in general and "To the Sun" is a close second for field music (the piano version on From Astral to Umbral is perfect). Also that enigmatic final portion of "On Westerly Winds".Â

Really, I can't get over how amazing the battle themes are in this game either - I am very partial to "Fallen Angel" but have a special soft spot for the Midgardsomr one because piano, how could you go wrong with that? I love that there's so much of that instrument in Heavensward and honestly, I couldn't gush more about all the new HW music. Soken and team really outdid themselves with that one.

/edit for special mention for the Foundation night theme. It played a major role in getting me to love the city and the whole Ishgardian storyline, despite my initial reservations about it.

The only true answer to this question.

Just kidding! Shiva's 1st theme is and most likely will remain my all-time favorite track in this game. It is usually difficult for me to choose just one song from an already standout OST, but this song stands above all the rest for me, easily. It is a shame the worst song in the game has to follow it.
