IC Information Welcome to the Glowfly Exchange's first All Saint’s Wake celebration. This coming Moon, Glowfly will be hosting a truly spooky fete! Come visit our gardens for a relaxed All Saint’s Wake party, or perhaps even brave the depths of Lost Light’s Labyrinth, a twisting maze constructed especially for the night’s events! Don your eerie costumes and find your pointed caps to celebrate another year, but most of all, gather with the Exchange for a night of celebration and fun! OOC Information The Glowfly Exchange will be hosting a public event on Balmung this October 22nd, starting at 5pm, EDT. There will be an outdoor garden party, and all are welcome to attend! The house will be host to a haunted maze which guests are welcome to explore. At 10pm EDT, we will also be holding a costume contest for those interested! As this is an IC only event it is encouraged that you keep your costume in-character, though attendants who do not wish to enter the contest may dress however they see fit. Be creative! First, second, and third place will be rewarded with special prizes, to be announced at the event. If you would like to take part in the costume contest on the date of the event, please let Yvenalise Tachibana or Ayda Elu’this either ICly, or via /tell OOCly. Entrants will be taken from 5pm EDT until 9pm EDT. Similarly if you wish to inquire about anything, please get in touch with either of us, as we would be more than happy to discuss anything you wish. This event will officially run until 2am EDT, after which point there will be no staffing, but revelers are more than welcome to stay for more roleplay for as long as they desire! Glowfly's Lost Light Labyrinth and Garden party is tonight, and we have some more information for everybody! First, our menu! Drinks will have an in character flat fee of 35 gil, with food having a flat fee of 50 gil. In addition to the menu, we would also like to post our maze rules. While traversing the halls of Lost Light Labyrinth, please refrain from: 1 - Running. “Patrons are expected to carefully make their way through our haunted halls with patience. Please do not run within the maze, lest the maze decide to to make you an evening snack. Those walls do so enjoy the runners…” [[In order to best enjoy the maze we have created, please walk! It will make your experience much better.]] 2 - Wall/Prop breaking. “They traveled /through/ the walls? Surely you jest. Last I saw, only the Labyrinth's ghosts could do that! Huh? Oh, you didn’t know about the ghosts? Well.” [[Please do not clip through the maze’s walls or furnishings. We appreciate that you may be curious, but if our staff catch you doing this, you will be warned, and, at worst, asked to leave the maze.]] 3 - Breaking character. “I’m sorry, did you say you heard a patron shout, “BRB there's two raccoons fighting outside and my money's on the little guy.”? I do believe you may wish to see a chirurgeon…” [[This event is entirely in character, and as such we endeavor to maintain the atmosphere of the maze as much as possible! Groups will be placed together in the maze, so please try to keep OOC chat private, so as to keep things spooky for both you, and our staff!]] We would also like to suggest when doing this maze to put your gamma as low as possible, disable all character names, and, if you like a bit more of a challenge, to try going through it in first person!
