Can't install FFXIV because of no CD-Rom

So, I got a new laptop but when I went to try get ready to install FFXIV...I have no CD-Rom in the computer.  Is there anyway to get onto the new laptop without have to buy the game through Steam? The original DVDs would need to be patched up anyways, which means redownloading the whole game anyways! Alternatively, you can copy the folder from another computer too once you install the launcher.
