Seems a lot of people are coming back for the expansion. Truthfully, I forgot about it, my current job finally leaves me with free time to play. Been gone for about two years and want to get back Into the swing of things. I'm coming back with a few friends of mine, but they don't RP and we're on Gilgamesh. I guess the questions I have after clicking around the forums are 1) is Gilgamesh still an RP server? Â 2) if not, where can I go? It looks like balmung is not a possibility.Â

I'm not the greatest (heck I hesitate to call myself good) at RPing. I was just getting into it when work forced me awayâ€‹. It was a lot of fun Â as something to do when the grind was just to much.

I'm currently on day 3 of battling the patcher on ps4, so you know, if ever I get into the game I'd like to know what I'm looking for, or where I need to go. Thanks for any help.

1. Yes, there are still RP'ers on Gilgamesh. They have their own website and you can also find some of them in this discord.Â

Balmung will probably be unlocked again one day, but it wont happen anytime soon. We don't know for sure, but there are guestimates on 2-6 months. Alternatively, Mateus and Jenova also have RP communities on them, and there are smaller communities/individual guilds on some of the other servers too. This is a time where, because of Balmung's lockdown, the RP community is expanding on other servers and ideal if you want to get involved in shaping up something new and good Smile

Â Or in Gilgamesh's case, maintain the community there is there.
