Hi anyone who reads this.

I've been away from FF:ARR since late 2014 I think? Before any of the expansion packs came out.

Originally I played on Balmung and left MMO games for the most part since that time. But I have recently decided to come back into the game and I'm learning it all over again, especially since I'm playing on console now compared to when I played on PC.

I've been catching up on what has happened since I was away.
The main things I've gathered have been most of the people I knew have gone onto various other different servers or have left.
So I'm rather out of place at the moment, but I guess looking at the whole Balmung situation I should be happy with having a character or two on there already due to it being locked and seemingly still being the unofficial RP server.

Anyway, I'll stop blabbing on now.

Yeah, you gone done lucked out already being on Balmung. There was a brief rash of people who moved off to Mateus because the queues on Balmung were horrible for the first week or two of Stormblood, but that has since been completely resolved and it's been smooth sailing ever since. So, if you want to hit the ground running, you can toss up a Making Connections post here on the RPC as a good first step if you have a decent idea of where you'd like to go with your characters or what niches you want to shoot for!Â

Well Hello there! I'll echo Kasi and say you quite licked out already having characters on Balmung. The queues are back to their old (perhaps 9-25 people in line) ways and are no longer a real issue at all.Â

It's always nice to see people returning to the game, especially on Balmung since transfers and the lick are shut down. Returning faces are the new NEW faces. So feel free to look up my character Alyria Winchester if you are looking for some RP I could most likely point you in a direction or two. Also, again to echo Kasi, put up a making connections post. The people here are really good at responding to those. If not on thread, via PM.
