Hey there everyone, my name is Generation and I'm a complete noob. To Final Fantasy that is. I've been an avid roleplayer for about three years now, but never have I ever gone to far away from home. World of Warcraft is where I come from, but I wish to branch out and experience new things! A few months ago a lot of friends I had left World of Warcraft to join Final Fantasy Online. I've lost contact with these friends, but I'm looking to make new ones here and now!Â

While Balmung is the server I wish to join, they are not accepting new characters. I will spend my time drafting and learning lore while I wait for the server to open once more. To all you out there who read these, thank you and have a good day!

I aim to go school for writing and want to be an Author in the future!
I will soon be moving from the United States to Italy!

As much as I'd like to say hold onto that hope of Balmung opening up once more.... ehhh, I'm not sure it'll be happening anytime soon.

Good new, though! There are two other servers (actually more, but these two have the biggest presence I believe) that serve as RP hubs. Mateus for NA, Omega for EU. Given your work schedule, Omega may work out best for you... though I'm not sure how bad the ping will be (though with the move to Italy it may not be bad at all), nor have I been there myself to tell you just how big the RP community is.

Mateus, however, I can vouch for there being a sizable RP presence. So, if you're dying to play the game, I certainly recommend either of those servers... rather than waiting the unknown time it'll be for Balmung to open up again... assuming it ever will.

Either way, welcome to the addiction!

I've had characters on both Mateus and Omega myself, the alternatives to Balmung. Even though I am from the EU, I've found I much prefer Mateus as a roleplay server. I find it to be more open, friendly and have a much wider range of roleplays happening.

Feel free to shoot me a message, I'd be happy to roleplay with you sometime, and also help you with the game itself if wanted.Â
