I love the 'Stretch' emote! I was spamming it and taking screenshots for siggy earlier. There's a Soothe, ThumbsUp, and several others. You can always see people playing around with these. Sipipi (or w/e her name is) really seems to like them too.

Didnt know there was a FFXIV youtube channel, awesome. On the video i love how they done the animations, i wish more companys would do more motion capture, its more life like.

As an afterthought (postcount+1go!!), I really would like to see them link the emotes to slashes like they did in FFXI so that they can be executed from the runline. I'm sure this is 'coming soon', but going through the menu is a tedious process (especially with so many emotes to choose from, and they're not exactly well-alphabetized!!). I have wanted to do a simple /wave emote to someone's name I recognized from the RPC forums as they ran by, but by the time I got the menu up and found the emote, they were way out of range.

60 emotes is very nice. I went and looked up how many FFXI had after all these years. It's about 34 I think according to FFXIclopedia.

Yeah we're still waiting on the job-specific emotes they promised about 3 updates ago... Rolleyes

And of those 34, I think a few of them are the same animations (i.e. /wave /farewell)

I remember those promised dances, they still aren't in?

Aion always had a bunch of new dance emotes, they were always fun.

The emotes are really extensive, but the drop down menu and the fact you can't go /wave are a real bummer.
