Pleased to meet you all! I'm Alice, though I've gone by Majidae ever since I could remember. (It's rarely ever taken as a username, and a lovely word to boot!) I've also roleplayed ever since I could remember, and it's definitely one of my favorite hobbies. I started out on Neopets (cue groaning) and then moved on to e-mail, forums, IRC, and then City Of Heroes/Villains (R.I.P), and after that, Guild Wars 2, with an insanely brief interlude for SWTOR in-between. I also play tabletop RPGs when I can, and proceed to frustrate my DM by making my character unnecessarily weak for the sake of better RP.
I have a close-knit group of friends that I enjoy RPing with, and I've followed them through two MMOs now! They've really helped me become the roleplayer I am today. However, I'm always looking for new friends to make and hang out with, and the community on FF14 seems really welcoming and interesting, so I can't wait to meet you! Yes, you. With the character. Hi.
I play two characters, both of which take heavy inspiration from characters I loved in previous MMOs: L'Poppi Arhien, a Miqo'te bard, and Kristina Rose, a Hyur white mage. Both characters can range from light-hearted, silly, slapstick RP, to serious and more dramatic stuff: I enjoy it all (though I do not enjoy melodrama too much when not played for laughs/satire)! The only RP I do not do is ERP. My apologies for crushing any dreams.
Oh, and for the curious, I reside in Ashland, Oregon, which is kind of close to Portland, Oregon, give or take five hours. Although I might be in the PST time zone, I tend to stay up freakishly odd hours, so don't worry too much if our times differ.
