Bought FFXIV a few weeks ago at the urgings of a few people I know through a now defunct Ragnarok Online RP server I used to GM on. Decided to try getting into MMO rp once again, since my twice a month Pathfinder game isn't enough for me. I only have one character at the moment, and I didn't intend to start rping, so forgive the name.
Sic Arius: Hellsguard Roegadyn. Male, old. White hair, one green eye, one purple. Currently retired with a small collection of places around the country that he rents and travels to. Drinks and reads and socializes with most of his free time, but can quickly turn snarky and crotchety, as he's becoming painfully aware that he is not as quick, strong, good looking, and most of all young and slim as he once was. Was a career soldier, probably for the Maelstrom or some other Limsa armed force. While proud of his time served and his achievements, he doesn't talk about them often, as he is also still struggling to come to terms with the things he's done and the friends he's lost, although he isn't the brooding type at all.
At the moment he's a summoner, but that's OOC as far as I'm concerned. I'm holding out for Dark Knight to be introduced, because not only is that my favorite class in the series, but I think it'd fit him. I'd be a Fighter, but I just really don't like tanking. Hope to meet some people!
