--MMORPG background
I have play just about every mmorpg that has come out.Â My big ones I have constantly played are eq1/2, swg, and WoW.Â Â I'm always up to try new ones when they come out and now ff14 has me hooked.

--RP experience
I have mainly rped in Starwars Galaxies one of the greatest games for rpers i have ever played in.Â I also rped in eq2 and wow.Â I stopped rping in the wrath of the lich king wow expansion and became a hardcore raider.Â I am very rusty at rping but wanna get back into it.Â I am finding that the games are now holding my interest as they used to.Â I am comeing to the conclusion that its rp i need.

--Character ideas/info
Corban is a young knight looking to prove his devotion to a worthy order.Â He is young and full of honor and grit.

--How did you learn about the coalition?
I was out doing fates on a non rp server and asked about servers and another in the fate sent me to this site.

--What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy?
I would like to aim for medium to heavy.Â Though start out light so i can get back into the swing of things.

--Anything from real life you'Â€Â™re comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc) Once you all get to know me I will be happy to share this stuff.

Welcome to the RPC Corban (Of would you prefer "CD"?)

Always cool to hear that people out there mention the RPC when roleplay comes up, I hope you've already found a few things that interest you! Cool to see another EQ player, its where I got my roleplay start, though I was young and quite rubbish at it... but anyways!

Is just a general welcome post that pretty much covers the basic tools here on the RPC (Calendat, Linkshell hall, wiki etc.) as well as talks about some of what brought the RPC about.

Is an RP handbook put together by the illustrious Eva, quite lengthy you'll find it touches on a vast array of topics. If nothing else, skimming over it to get anthers perspective can be of great help.

But onto communities! I like to think having a linkshell or two even if you don't talk a lot in them helps make the game feel a bit more welcoming, so i'll plug the two i'm fond of, and maybe some one will mention another later on.

Is "Intermission" and OOC linkshell that allows people to talk, about pretty much anything.. its a great way to find out where people are, what they might be doing, if that group of people you saw walking outside Thals Respite are open for a drop in, all that fun stuff.

Is "Balmungs Finest" A linkshell dedicated to PVE content, need a story line dungeon? running CM for Philo tomes? chances are you'll be able to fill out your party here.

Welcome to the boards and the game, Corban. I'm quite new here myself, but I'll definitely keep an eye out for you as I wander around in-game. SWG was one of my first MMORPG's back in the day from beta into its extinction. Game meant a lot to me over the years. Good times there, but many more to be had in FFXIV:RR!
