Introductions! I'm freaking terrible at stuff like this. But uh, hey! I'm fairly new to the forums but I've been playing FFXIV for a few months now. Looking to break into the roleplay, finally. I'm also obsessed with making alts and taking screenshots (expect the screenshot thread to be quite flooded by myself.) The Elezen fellow in my portrait is my main but I also have a thing for Moonkeeper miqo'te, apparently. I roleplayed on WoW (Argent Dawn EU) for several years, then on Guild Wars 2 since it's launch (Piken Square - unofficial EU RP server). This is the first time I've been on an American server (I'm English) and time zones are a pain in the butt. I've done table-top stuff in the past as well, though I've always felt most comfortable roleplaying through games. I'm very awkward.  Outside of games I'm a literature student in my final year of university and primarily focus on women's writing and Romanticism. I'm also an aspiring writer and often use characters from my writing in roleplay (or vice versa). And yes, I do have a thing for tragic backstories and socially inept characters. Who doesn't, right? I was also on Argent Dawn and Piken Square! My Keeper has a tragic backstory and is rather socially inept too haha. *highfive* Time zones can indeed be a pain, but luckily we have a very active EU community here on Balmung. Europa is an OOC/LFRP linkshell, The Travellers Guild is an RP free company and Eorzean Union is an endgame PVE free company, all playing during EU peak times. Also be sure to check out the Bronze Lake Resort; it's EU timed and a great way to meet new people. Hope you settle in well and feel free to hit me up in game! ^^
