After signing up for the Beta did anyone get some kind of item code? I remember getting some type of code somewhere, although I have no idea how/if/where it can be used once the game comes out.

Also for another question, you can link both your XI and XIV accounts on your Square Enix account and get half-off on XI, right? If that's the case then does that half-off price last forever and is it only if you pre-order XIV? Sorry if this happens to be in the wrong board!

Yes you did, but you'll be getting a new one once open beta is released, so if you lost it no big.

And yes, if your FFXI and FFXIV account are both on your SE account, you'll get the discount, and no it's not for preorder, if for as long as you hold both accounts Smile

I'm curious if it's possible to download the beta client before getting a key for it. I'm sure to apply to the Open beta when it starts, just don't want to have to download the entire thing for 12 hours before I can use it (that's IF I get in anyway)
