That goes to everyone, this is not an Ul'dah only event. We should and will have dignitariees, special envoys, and even military personal from the other nations. If you cant get formal clothes, come find me this week and I WILL help you find something, even if I have to make/buy it myself. I'm doing this to grow fellowship on this server and insure a good time is had by all. And that is just what I'll do.

A little off topic in my own thread, I know, the sin. But I just had to post this here. I'm so grateful for the help and support. This is my first major event hosting (in this game) and I couldn't have gone far without the positive feedback. Thanks, now back to work for this dutch boy.

I'm not sure if this was asked before, but is bringing a date mandatory? Almost all of my characters are single, and the only one who isn't wouldn't be interested in balls. I was thinking to come as Jet'a, but he really isn't interested in getting a date (I've actually spent a good amount of time thinking of who could more reasonably want to participate to the event and for what reasons, and Jet'a fits best). He won't come to dance, but he is looking for a specific person and knows that mundane activities are where he has better chance to find clues about them, so a date really isn't something he'd look for.

Bringing a date is encouraged but not required.

I look at all these pretty dungeon drops thatÂ I can't wear cause they're DRG/MNK/BRD gear T_T (I'm looking at you Saurian, Fistfighter's, Shikaree's, Hussar's chest pieces!)

I'd offer myself up as an escort, but 13 fps inside the inn would spell nothing but disaster at a large RP event.

Trying to do the same thing for my Monk formal wear otherwise I have an alternate set I can use haha

If my character wasn't getting dragged there to be social and look pretty (against his will) by his friend, a self proclaimed personal Tailor/Stylist,I'd suggest hijacking him for an escort.

The downside running this thing is IC I will be on duty so can't bring a date. So sad.
