Okay, so I've been playing XIV: ARR since February now; I think I've settled in fairly well...I have 2 level 50 jobs and I like to dungeon when I can, and try new places. More importantly for this site though, is that I've been with an RP FC for a while (Harbingers of Dawn). They're a great bunch of guys, pretty supportive, and they offer some nice RP.

But here's my thing. I wanna expand my RP horizons, have some more choices available. So this is why I'm making a little thread.

I was hoping to make some friends to RP with, and help me with my issue of being a giant RP hermit, since I only really RP in Mist with the FC. I play two characters, both in HoD, but need more interaction with others on both - additionally, I am more than open about the possibility of joining another RP FC and alternating between the two, and POSSIBLY visiting Gilgamesh to see what they have.

Hope you take the time to read this little thing. And BTW! You can find both Aria Benett and Drys Ubyltusyn on the wiki (Drys is mostly empty, but oh well. He's a man-roe if anyone is curious).

If you end up visiting Gilgamesh at all, feel free to poke at any of the Black Sails crew! All of our people are friendly and open to new RP, and I'm certain they'd all be more than happy to RP with you a bit. ^^

Let me know if you'd like an invite to XI:7's LS. We actually bought a house in the same ward as you guys, so we've started RPing there more ourselves.

I totally understand the whole RP hermit thing. While the game has been out a while, the RP community it still sort of settling and shifting. Its hard to figure out how to find more RP sometimes.

But, once again, if you'd like to have some more people to interact with I gladly offer my group to ya. You can find me in game as Garryson Shipkeeper, or just drop me a line here.

You should attend to the Ball event in Ul'dah. Events are always a good way to make new friends Bouncy!

To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.

"What makes a strong character is how they deal with their flaws, their fears, their turmoils, their troubles that get in the way. That's what makes them relatable." -- N.C.
