Hey there, I'm X'hoku Tia. X'hoku to most, Hoku to my friends, and 'that good for nothing cat' to a privileged few. I just recently started playing this game, trying to see if I like it. I enjoy MMOs, but not all the grindy bits that seem to go on forever and are required to keep your character able to do most of the end-game parts.
That is precisely the reason why I role-play.
A friend of mine suggested this game to me, and I figured I'd give it a go. It seems interesting, especially all of the features that support role-playing in-game. When I found out you could sit on a bench by walking up to it and typing /sit, I was AMAZED!! So I'm eager to see what else this game has in store.
I'd like to tentatively dip my foot into the Final Fantasy RP scene. I don't know too much about the setting of Final Fantasy XIV, though I can tell it harkens back to the first handful of installments quite a bit. I'm pretty familiar with the series as a whole, but haven't had too much time with this latest one. Please, forgive me if I make a mis-step or two while learning the lore.
But enough about me, let's talk about me! X'kohu is, quite bluntly, a slacker. He thinks he shouldn't spend too much time working, because then he won't have enough time to spend on living. He is a Seeker of the Sun, and the brother of X'Raena Tsunhe. His sister is too kind for her own good, but somehow managed to keep her brother from just lounging about all day. He is a pretty laid-back arcanist, with good intentions at heart. With a fun-loving, if a bit reckless, personality, he tries his best to live life to the fullest. Of course, he's not quite as skilled as his sister, who actually practices the arcane arts to try and improve at them. While he knows how to fish, he mostly runs odd jobs around town to get by, not wanting to be tied to one workplace. Besides, he meets more people this way!
I'm pretty open about things, as far as role-play is concerned. If someone has a neat idea, I'm all for it! Hit me up, and I'll be on my way!
Cheers,
X'kohu Tia
P.S. No, I am not a bear. Honest.
