It's been a long time coming, but with the Blue Skies recently having gone public once again, I decided it was about time to start bringing back some old traditions. A few of you might remember these old events from 1.0, and while the Mineral Concern isn't what it once was, the Blue Skies now has a home of it's own to host these occasional gatherings! Beyond this, keep an eye out for Horizon Crossings as well, as they're going to be making a come-back in the near future!)) The following flyer can be found posted in the three major Adventurers Guilds of Eorzea. Show Content Spoiler Adventurers! Do you often find yourself sitting alone in the guilds, longing for more meaningful connections within the adventuring community? The Blue Skies Adventuring Company Would like to invite you to join them this weekend for a night of free drinks and grandiose tales spun be none other than your fellow adventurers! Whether you’re fresh off the docks or a veteran of the trade, feel free to swing by and expand your horizons! The Horizon The Lavender Beds, District #5 Lavender Southeast, #09 27th Sun of the 2nd Umbral Moon At the 17th Bell OOC Information Where: The Horizon (Ward 5 of the Lavender Beds, plot 9) When: Sunday, April 27th @ 5:00pm EST until ???~ Why: Just a simple gathering extended to the adventuring community at large to commemorate the Blue Skies' official return to the trade! I'll be honest, we had way more of a turnout than I expected, which was awesome. I'm glad to hear everyone enjoyed themselves. Bit chaotic with so many people crammed into one space, but this was most certainly a learning experience. I think that's one of the best things about these events. You always learn a thing or two to make the next one all the more smoother. I have some fantastic ideas to ease up on the crowded-ness for the next one! ...I think I'll also invest in finding a character (or two) who actually wants to be the bartender next time around. I feel like people were a bit hesitant in using the NPC barkeep that was set up, so I found myself roped into doing the job myself. Unfortunately, that meant not being able to get around to everyone as much as I'd have liked, so my apologies if I seemed a bit rushed and didn't stick around to talk to any one specific person for too long! Anyways, thanks again to everyone who showed up. Was fun testing the waters, and here's hoping the next one will be a step up!
