I held one without putting up a thread, as I saw no real use. It was a test-run, more like, to see how the whole thing would go and what kinks would need to be worked out. Since it's such an informal event, the structure was nonexistent and that was a little troublesome when wanting to get people gathered to socialize. However, I found it fun and fluid as people were able to come and go as they wished.
I met a lot of really great people this way and had a lot of fun. So, since the first time went along with relative success I figured I would do it at least once more. I thought I'd put up a thread here because, while the idea is minimal and therefor rather hard to improve upon, it'd be nice to hear anyone else's thoughts if they have them. Locations? Events? Games? It could all be added to an expanded on if the desire for more beach nights becomes apparent.
Mostly, as a final and most important point, I wanted to post this as a thank you. Everyone that I met at the beach night -and subsequently at Xenedra's Soliloquy tavern night - were wonderfully kind. I'd like an excuse to meet you all again, RP with those I should have more, and have fun. It was a great experience I look forward to trying to replicate. Thank you, and I look forward to our next one on June 14th.
