Yup, and nowdays you can buy really cheap DoW/DoM equipment as well, since combat materia sells well because of novus. Det IV's sell for over 200k most of the time.

Yes. Yes. Please flood the market with Tier3/4 combat materia.

Cough.

I've been a poor spiritbonder. I barely ever do left side spiritbonding which means I spend less time there than others because it means I have to teleport to repair and then back because I can't repair them myself.

I've mostly made Franz made me the gem stuff as well as the red coral earrings and/or electrum rings (both kinds). The gem stuff are i45+ and have -all- given me tier III and a few Tier IV. You can also do it with NQ items, but HQ items -do- spiritbond faster.

The worst thing is getting 5 Earth IV -_-; But I've had 3 Savage Might IV come in and I sold them all for 200k ish gil.

... but crafting mats should all die in flames because I'm tired of all Craftsman Cunning IIIs. Seriously. Die. In. Fire.

Ah, I assumed that since Tier IV can only be melded into i55 equipment, then they could only be obtained by i55 stuff. I have the crafting classes to do i45. I'll give it a try, thanks!

I assume I'd have to craft/gather stuff that is lv38 or higher, right? lv1 crystals wouldn't spiritbond i45 stuff, even if I'm a lv50 node?

To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.

Are you trying to spiritbond stuff just through regular crafting and gathering?

I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone and gather for money as I spiritbond, but if you recommend killing things, I'll do that instead, thanks.

If there's a party in URth's gift, spiritbonding there will give your items ~4% (HQ) in one pull. Even if it's just 1 WHM and 1 BLM. I did that with Natalie and got around the same percentage 3-4% I'm not sure exactly how much crafting you will have to do to get 100% on making the items at all... but most people I see who want to sell crafting material will just wear those items while they WHM HOLY or BLM FIRE3/FLARE etc.

Well, that's convenient. My main is BLM and my best FC mate's a WHM. Once she can finally get the patch downloaded, we will give it a try.

Again, thanks for all the advice, it's giving me some drive to keep trying.

You can do it! From what I can see, the devs hope to get personal housing in at 2.38. However they have hinted that it would cost close to what small plots cost either now or at the end of the price drops (2.2mil).

Said as much in this post that they still hope to get it in before 2.4.

Who knows, maybe they will add more wards in before that.

On the subject of personal houses, I hope the design is different than Guild houses, so it gives people drive to want both Sad

I don't know, that could still feed the urge to possess a FC house for oneself. I think if they looked the same, it could drive away from FC housing all those players who bought an FC house just for themselves, and leave it to actual groups.
