Hello! I'm currently working on the Radio Show Tales from Eorzea and looking for 'Interns' so to speak. First and Foremost I'm looking for a Talented Co-writer, after all, we all hit writers block and an assistant to help move the story along by bouncing ideas back and forth would be super helpful. Secondly, I need another 'Actor' to play the roll of Narrator. If there are a lot of people for that position there might a casting call where you'll read the lines and myself and Urth (my Co-actor) will determine who we think will be best for the role.

You should get in contact with mason. He has a similar work going on that is being covered by ...is it Eorzeapedia? Something like that. Aetherite radio. You should get together and compare notes.

Yes, he's the one that sent me here. He's doing a show ~about Roleplay~ my show ~will be~ role play. Like an Old Fashioned Radio Drama.

Oh that's absolutely wonderful! Well, I'm the editor of our IC newspaper, The Tonberry's Lantern. Maybe we could work on some collaborative stuff sometime?

Sounds great! I'd love to do some collaborative work! Get the RPC involved in the podcast and even have outcomes and play based events as a result!

For the record, here is what I have so far for the Opening Narrative.

I'm no Michael Winslow, so the ship sounds and water might be a little difficult. Laugh

I kid, I kid. And kudos if you get the joke, too. Anyway, I'll go ahead and give it a few tries on Audacity, and hopefully have a sample or two by tonight I can send via the PM system here. Smile

I'd be down to do the Narration voice. I'd love to help co-write, but I'm going to be out of game until PS3 release, so my creativity will be a bit hampered to relying on data from community sites. But as a speaker, I could do well. I'm not really shy when it comes to putting my voice on blast. Plus, the more I can do to contribute to Besaid, the happier I am.

I've done a bit of voice acting, but not much. I'll get involved to the limit I can, but my main focus is the paper. And I think we could work out some great stuff between the two mediums.

When do you need this by? Do you mind a female?
Any accent you want? I can do British-like accent rather well..
Even russian-ish..

And do you mind .wav files as examples?
Also how much need to be said?

I realize that is allot of probably unknowns, but I am interested, just need to figure out if I have the time to devote.

Try several different styles and submit what you feel is best. Wav or MP3 works. And female voices are fine!
