(*goes to check* Oh wow, July 2010. That's quite a while.) If you were a member of A.E.T.H.E.R. for the brief period I was there, you might remember me or my character. If not, you can read about it in the application I submitted here. For those of you who don't care enough to read the whole thing, I have a summed up version in the character info section below. I do plan on continuing my subscription for at least a couple of months for the Legacy membership (if all goes well), so I'm looking for a moderate to heavy RP linkshell to join. Any suggestions and recommendations are appreciated. --MMORPG background Spoiler: show No expansive MMO experience, save for with FFXI. I've played an awful lot of WoW, but I don't talk about it much for fear of a relapse. Roleplaying over an MMO didn't go over well specifically with WoW, but I did have lots of great experiences roleplaying with my friend on Hades in FFXI. Since then I tried my hand at roleplaying in FFXIV in AETHER (mentioned before) which was great until I had to quit due to financial troubles. --RP experience Spoiler: show I've been doing it since I was an awkward teenager (which is probably a decade and a half ago by now). Not particularly well, mind you, but practice is practice. I have experience with a wide variety of styles including those found in tabletop games, forums, instant messenger, and IRC. --Character ideas/info Spoiler: show Keisuna's character essentially revolves around the idea that you can (despite popular belief) teach an old dog new tricks. This isn't to say that Kei is particularly old, but she's definitely past the "spring kitten" phase. That part of her life was spent in a dungeon, where she lived for twenty years. Captured and sentenced at the age of 16 with a group of political terrorists who were targeting Limsa Lominsan officials, she was given a reduced sentence for being too young to be considered fully responsible for her actions, and was thus spared the displeasure of having to dance the hempen jig. 20 years later she is free to rejoin civilized society with nothing to her name, no skills, and no family to speak of—being the daughter of nameless lowlife vagabonds and bilge rats. After some assistance from AETHER Academy, however, she was able to build upon some skills and abilities, and eventually came to be able to take care of herself. Now she simply looks for opportunities to either occupy her mind or earn some more money to live off of. Preferably both. --How did you learn about the coalition? Spoiler: show Believe it or not, I heard about it on the Eorzeapedia forums when they were first forming it and advertising it. I was actually going in to FFXIV looking forward to some good roleplay, so I joined up. Unfortunately FFXIV turned out to be nigh unplayable so I left it for a while, eventually coming back for a couple of months before I had to leave again. --What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy? Spoiler: show Medium to Heavy, and I say that because while I do like being in character a great deal, I have reservations about doing so ALL the time, especially in battle. I get overwhelmed easily, so I have to go slow, and trying to roleplay while casting spells and keeping track of abilities is too much. Barring that, I have no problem with roleplaying almost every other time. --Anything from real life you’re comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc) Spoiler: show Not much to say, I suppose, at least nothing that I can guess people would find fascinating. I guess I could say that I make pretty art which you can see here if you are so inclined, but that's about it. If you want to know anything else, feel free to ask. Anyway, here's hoping to meet some great new friends and all.

I played in AETHER as well, as Mason Lermontov, but that may have been before your time there. I'd suggest looking at a number of linkshells, see which ones seem plausible for your character and go from there! I'm sure something will call to you. EDIT: Political prisoner, who attempted to take out the Limsa officials. She may receive a letter from someone upon her release. I’m the bullies you hate, that you became.
