To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect. It would be useful to know some things like how old your character is, where they grew up and how they were supposedly separated from their family. Without a little bit of information it can be difficult for people to know if they have any characters who might fit. I play several Roegadyn myself but it would be impossible for me to say if they had any connection to yours without knowing a little more about her.
