Welcome one and all to the first ever Inquisitors Random Person Halloween Auction!
Or, IRPHA for shortâ€¦Which is not really a good way to shorten it. Jeez the boss is going to be angry!
The rules of this auction are as follows!
1. You must sign up before the day of the event. We MAY possibly take in latecomers if they have all the information already set up before you asked.
2. A date ends when the date says so. That means if you are only buying them for ERP and they refuse, they have a right to say no and end it. Or if you are only buying them to feed them to your pet giraffe or assorted animal related deaths and such. Really, the date ends when they say so. If your date is ended without a good reason and you think it is wrong, please do inform the Inquisitor so they can research this matter and try to supply a refund if needed.
3. All dates must be dressed in a costume or spooky outfit. This is a Halloween Based event. We wish to make it spooky and fun!
4. Have fun. Please do not come to only cause issues like a lalafell hiding under a bridge in a strange green mask asking for random pieces of clothing or potatos.
5. This event will use real gil, or allagan pieces in the accurate amount that leads up to the equal amount of gil bid. No other form of payment will be used. If you do not pay the gil, the person being auctioned will be sold to the person who bid before them. One you win, you will hand 100% to the Inquisitior, before they hand over 100% to the person you bid on to ensure the money was handed over.
6. Bids will start at 10,000 gil and will move up in 1,000 amounts. If your bid is not in 1,000 increments, they will be ignored.
7. Please, do try to only bid on one or two or three people total. Even if you have billions of gil, other people do wish to win as well and as much as we would enjoy your gil, this event is more about the enjoyment of the people being sold.

Now for the fun part! To sign up, please message Freya Aeternum with a brief description of your character. An example of this is
Name::
A brief description of the characters personality, hobbies, and jobs ((General description you wish spoken to introduce your character to the crowd))
What they are dressed as for Halloween and why. ((Note. It is optional to dress up in costume to be auctioned, but its a Halloween event~! So might be more fun to!))
And a picture of your character in their costume! ((Or normal picture if not wearing one))

And that is all you need to sign up! Please sign up as soon as possible before the event. This event will take place on the November 1st at 6pm Eastern time! I know it is after Halloween but to avoid the rush of events and to ensure everyone can make it, it will take place then.

Then! We have the Halloween Costume Contest~!
There will be 4 judges for this costume contest, and this is an IC and OOC event! So donâ€™t worry about needing to dress up to fit in the Final Fantasy 14 universe! If you wish to dress up like, Link from Legend of Zelda, you totally can! The costume has three different ways of judging!
1. If you are dressing up like a character from another game or like something from a movie or such, please provide the judges with the image or character you used so we can base off how close you got it.
2. If you are dressing up like a vampire or monster or general enemy, please provide us the name or reference to the monster/enemy!
3. If you are making your own scary outfit, provide us the theme you picked and such. Like if you are making your own spooky ghost theme, let us know.
4. There is also an overall judging method to help ensure winners and picked based on as much as we can, since if you dress like link, but there isnâ€™t exactly only one good way to dress as such, or a vampire there is no general vampire, we will judge on overall closeness. We want this to be more about the fun and not about winning~!

If you wish to enter this event, we just need you to provide your name! Unlike the Date Auction, all we need is the name of the character you wish to enter the contest! You can provide the reference during the event so the crowd knows as well!

You need to sign up for this event before the day of the event as well. No late sign ups! Sorry!
First Prize For the Costume Contest is
A Bust Shot drawing of your character by the lovely Dice Domino~!
And 3,000,000Gil!
Second Prize for the costume contest is
2,000,000 Gil!
Third prize for the costume contest is
1,000,000gil!

Both of these events will be on November 1st around 6pm eastern time! The location they will take place is Goblet Ward 8, Plot 43 Subdivision~!

Updated the rules for the date auction due to a kind donation.
Originally the event would take 50% of the auctioned gil to put toward raising the gil prizes for the costume contest, but some very kind souls donated and now 100% of the gil will go to the one you bid on~!
The costume contest prizes have also received a giant boost~!
ALSO moved the date to November 1st to ensure its on a weekend, because I can't read a calendar and thought November 3rd was a saturday.
Also added a flyer~!

The required information needed iiisssss
For the date auction
Picture of character in costume/out of costume. One or the other~!
Introduction details of how you wish to be presented and sold~!
And name.

For the Costume contest
Name. Thats it.

For those signing up for the Costume Contest side of things.

Please...Don't show me your costumes you plan on using for said part of the event.
I'm a judge.
Dice Domino is also a judge.
Don't show us the costumes. We want to be surprised~!

If you have a costume change macro as well and wish to use it to have your costume have a bit of flare or such, feel free!

I am afraid if you do three people for the costume contest, you'd void the Art Commission prize due to not wishing to stress out the artist and take away from their already lost commission money.
Two people is our max for that prize. You'd still get the gil however with three.

Due to how many sign ups, once we hit 30 sign ups on the date auction we will be closing down them!
You will still be able to sign up to be sold, but may not be sold unless another person within the first 30 sign ups does not show up, to ensure everyone is still sold who signed up ahead of time in a timely fashion.

We will still be accepting costume contest sign ups however!

Also, we may be moving the time of the event from starting at 6pm to starting at 4pm. But that is still being decided. We want to make sure everyone has time to sign up still and get through both events without hitting 1am~!
