Funded by the elusive madame Dieulafoy, a trading company began to form from the remnants of multiple very different parties of interest. Fifteen years of trade experience to her repertoire, the Dieulafoy family name is no stranger to the rosters of Ishgardian trading logs. In an effort to expand their reach, the Consortium was formed for the purpose of global access and expanded services.

With the reunion of past workmates, a deal was struck; to continue working towards similar goals, but under a generous benefactor who's name they knew all too well. Whether this would prove beneficial for the group as a whole, or to be just another notch in their belt as one more bridge left to be burnt has yet to be seen.

Since their decision to move in a trading direction under the employ of Lady Camille Dieulafoy, a chilling warning came to surface; their secrets were suddenly turned to blackmail by an unknown individual seeking to twist the individuals of the Larkspur Consortium to their whim. Scrambling to keep matters quiet lest they alert their employer, they begin their travels abroad to fulfill the ambiguous tasks detailed to them.

Directed to board a ship with little explanation by their blackmailer, the Larkspur Consortium gathered prior to heading for Shirogane to perform a petty task. Uncertain if the gesture was a show of power or a measure of their current cooperation, the group wearily continues on with their trading business, anxiously awaiting the next message.
