So, I'm thinking about going to Gilgamesh, and one of the biggest things that makes me pause whenever I go to make an RP character in an established universe is the name of the character.Â
'Caex Vaeriar' is a traditional name that I have loved for a long time. It has a deep meaning to me on a personal/OoC level, and maintaining as much of the original name as possible is important to me.Â
That said, I also wish to make sure to update the name in such a way that it fits in with the lore standards presented by the Keepers of the Moon. As the character is a male, it means he will inherit his mother surname, as well as her original name, thus resulting in a possible maintaining of the original name. (The 'x' could be seen as an abbreviated way of writing the name to compensate for the 'hk' many names show, though I may change it to Caehk for that reason.)Â
I was curious if anyone could offer insight that might have a better grasp of naming convention for me. Any advice is appreciated.
