So I've been out of the RP scene for a while now. It had kind of lost it's magic.

However two nights ago I joined a Satasha group and the decision was made to run the dungeon In Character as a bunch of random mercs hired to clear the caves of monsters.

Admitedly rusty as all heck, I jumped in with both feet (I think I may have called too much attention to myself, something to work on Blush

Â ) but it was, quite possibly, the most fun I've had in this game to date. I find that there's a bit too much "sitting around" RP for my taste as a gamer, but IC dungeons were basically what got me to start back in EQ1 all those years ago.

So I'm curious, are there any resources or groups of players out there that have a similar slant? I wouldn't mind making contact with like minded individuals.

I only have managed to do one IC run it was pretty fun but that was only one time sadly... can't seem to get a 4 man group together to do another D;

I love doing IC dungeons!Â I only wish there wasn't a time limit on them so we could really stretch our legs.

Did a number of, was pretty fun, but I can't concentrate well on both things at the same time...yes, when I ran IC while healing there were deaths Tongue

Â so not sure it's the best thing to do for me.

Yeah, IC dungeons are really pretty fun. ^^
They also give you situations and actions you cant replicate so easy in "sitting around and writing in chat" RP. I find them better too, because you are actually running around hitting stuff instead of standing and emoting everything.

I really would love to do one of these! If anyone wants to do them and doesn't mind having my derpy self along I'd gladly come! Admittedly it might teach me to emote/rp faster which would be good for me, ha ha.

Last IC run I was in was also DMed, throwing in different monsters and a new storyline, even some cursed treasure! But that time limit meant we only finished with a few minutes to spare, d'oh.

I remember in WoW my old guild would do IC dungeon runs and we'd be in there for upwards of three hours RPing and doing stuff.Â So much fun.

I wonder if there is an LS for this sort of thing?
