Man, so way back when I joined an earlier incarnation of this site -- ffxiv was in its first beta. I had actually started rping here, but then real life reared its ugly head and I backed out (played beta but never bought the game). But then recently a friend encouraged me to start playing, and man have things changed in a wonderful way! (Also if anyone remembers brisia/vijako . . . >> hit me up!

I'm a fairly active forum rper, having first started rping on a text based game awhile ago and not really stopping since then. I don't rp as much within mmos, but I always found it added an extra layer to my enjoyment when I joined in -- biggest issue being that I tend to gravitate towards semi-hardcore raiding, and there are very, very few rp guilds that cater to that. (or at least, not ones that needed my class/role or that I was able to find in the games I played!)
Right now I'm doing full time work and full time school, and I am not enough of a wizard to fit raiding into that, or spend enough time in game to really contribute to ongoing rp -- but what I CAN do is immerse myself in the forum rp here and spend time enjoying all of your wonderful discussions and descriptions of stuff going on in game!
Also, super super stoked to see that this site is FLOURISHING like crazy! You guys who run it and maintain it are amazing, alongside the members who keep the content flowing.
