I've seen several of you across the forums with hand-drawn likenesses of your characters. Especially on some Wiki's I've looked at. Where are some of you obtaining them from? Did you make them yourself? What's the story?Â Smile

We have a lot of super talented artist-type folks here, and a lot of them do commissions (some for gil, some for real monies)! If you check out the Artisan House here, you can find a bunch, which is where I'm assuming most people got their likenesses drawn. ...I really need to do this.

Hutarin did my avatar. She can be pretty busy, but her work is worth the wait.

Surilian did the drawing from my wiki page. She's fantastic, and I highly recommend her!

The art I have for L'yhta was purchased with RL money, with two exceptions (the pieces by Eckzein and sanguineFenrir -- thanks again, you two Smile

). As Savarah points out, there's a lot of talented artists in the Artisan House who take commissions. I've put the user names of the artists by the images on L'yhta's page so you can find out who to poke if you like them. Smile

However, the Mitch Foust commission is something I got off a Kickstarter that he did last year for an artbook. I've linked his DeviantArt page off the image if you want to check out his work or see about a commission. I'm not sure what his usual rates or schedule are.

I can draw extremely good tbh, I remember showing Misha a real life portrait of some people I drew.

However, I prefer drawing anime like and thus I tend to be extremely self conscious with starting a new style.Â

That coupled with 9/10 i rush literally every drawing I do because im impatient. Leading to cheaply work thus I don't do commissions. A few of my avatars have been my work tho!

But now it's if I can't draw the basic idea of it in under two minutes I give up.

Mine's a doodlie I did a few months ago now.

Thinking now that I am back in the game I'll probably end up drawing Lekka quite a bit more, so it's subject to change.Â (I'm also considering options for mini-comics involving her as comic-making is my goal for 2015)

Commissions from a friend. Commissions from here. The art section is worth looking at, doubly so since we have some real talented folks who don't mind being paid in gil.
