The Rosewood Coterie, also known as the Rosewood Post informally, is a small band of couriers headquartered in Gridania. While delivery moogles will suffice for most menial delivery tasks, some letters or parcels are of a higher importance or value. This is there the Rosewood Coterie comes in. Founded by the skilled lalafellin archer, Yayonzo Poponzo, the Rosewood Post exists to provde an extra assurance that these higher priority packages will be delivered safely and swiftly. Composed of adventureres from all walks of life, the company of couriers strives to be a reliable alternative to delivery moogles for deliveries that require an extra bit of care.

The Rosewood Coterie is a character drive, story based FC. This means that most of our RP will center around interactions between the characters as they react to the situations around them. We plan on putting the cast through different story arcs, forming a plot that links our events and offhand RP together. Our events are centered around a simple tabletop system that we'll be developing along the way, meaning every mission or delivery comes with the risk of failure, and an extra element of surprise. These events can vary from a few simple combat challenges, to stealthier sneaking trial, and more. If you're a fan of tabletop gaming, consider giving us a look!

As our numbers increase, we would also love to run some of the PvE content the game has to offer. This would include map nights, a casual static, and anything else you might recommend!

We are a Â humanitarian group lead by a Noble family of Hingashi. We are Samurai and Priests of the Four Guardians. We give shelter to those displaced by the Garlean Empire and teach our ways to those who wish to learn, may it be combat or our philosophy. We participated during the liberation efforts and still train folks to help in leading skirmishes to maintain Doma safe against the empire in Gyr Abhania and Othard. The clan operates from Eorzean soils, maintaining business and relationships with other influential families and individuals to continue our fight.

Clan Backstory

Having fought for Othard 25 years ago, the Ryuga Clan returned to their lands to lick their wounds. Living in relative peace as they tried to grow and pass their ways of the sword, the bow, and the spear to those willing to learn their ways and philosophies tied to them and their patron deities. The Four Guardians. They dedicated themselves to their worship and their ways of compassion and kindness as the Garleans brought misery to all. However, their ways and their intentions would not go unheard and unnoticed. Months have passed since their ancestral home was raided and taken from them, members slaughtered as Lord Yahata, and his siblings managed to escape and scatter to the winds and away from Othard.Â

Fighting their way to the Western lands, they have established themselves in The Mists in order to rebuild, form a resistance group against the Garleans, and open their doors to those who are also displaced by the Garlean wave of tyranny and suffering they've spread. Passing their ways to any and all willing to learn, no matter their beliefs, their origins, and race. Setting up a smithy, and preparing to open a restaurant to any wishing to experience a taste of Hingashi and Doma or give Easterners a place to feel at home.

Before the era came to an end the last of the Ryuga bloodline met its untimely fate. What remained are remnants of those loyal to the clan and the now widowed lady of the house. Taking up the name Okamura the newly formed clan seeks to raise from the ashes of its predecessors and continue with the values instilled in them by their heritages. Having traveled back home they found that much of their ranks had been Garlean loyalists, infiltrating their group. Returning once again to the Mists they set up a place where they can resume their fight.

Gekokujo:Â is a Japanese term for "overthrowing or surpassing one's superiors". It is variously translated as "the lower rules the higher" or "the low overcomes the high".Â

Our goal is just that: We seek to give our members a long-term goal to work towards, as well as helping develop everyone else's personal backstories. We currently have a large house in the Mists.

**We are heavily PVE-RP oriented, and strive to RP out in the realm of Eorzea, as well as the Far East/Gyr Abania.

We strive to have weekly RP events and to have fun together to create an open, safe, and friendly roleplay environment.

Linkshell Information

The Okamura Clan has an open door policy to those who seek shelter or wish to learn their ways. May it be the sword, the spear, or the bow. Or perhaps learn about their faith and the wisdom imparted to them by their deities. The faith is heavily based on Shinto Buddhism as well as their warrior code as Samurai. With warrior and priests that serve the clan there are also guests and allies who seek to aid in the fight. The Linkshell is an IC communication device given by the higher ups in the clan to allow inter-clan communications.For those unable or unwilling to join the Okamura Clan there is always a place to serve the fight.

The Black Card Society is a dark themed vigilante free company, who draws its ranks from the scum of society; murderers, thieves, arsonists, and even psychopaths can find a home here. They are a secretive criminal organization who preys on other criminals; a group of evildoers led by a man who hopes that someday their crimes can make some good result. Heists, assassinations, armed robbery, kidnapping, extortion, blackmail... if you need someone who's willing to get their hands dirty, you can come to the Society. Just don't expect it to be pretty.

They maintain their cover as an exclusive club and gentlemen's lounge out of the Goblet, Plot 30, Ward 16. The Club is protected, and the only ones allowed inside of their prestigious establishment are members who carry their signature Black Cards, which are used to identify members or are even left as calling cards to their enemies.

We are a heavy RP guild, with an added focus on PvE, PvP, and character growth. The most important rule of ours is to try to build a grand story together. We seek to provide an entertaining foe to the various criminal organizations in Mateus, as well as serve as a rival and occasional outright enemy of the more light-sided vigilante FC's. Entering the establishment, visitors are greeted by a long, dimly lit hallway, the walls littered with paraphernalia. Notices and wanted posters are haphazardly stuck to the dark red stucco that runs the length of the gloomy interior. Â At a glance, the hallway appears to be vacant, but soon the illusion is dispelled. The dim atmosphere is broken into by the sounds and sights of life. Busy-looking people pass through, carrying what appears to be deliveries down the hall and out the front door while others sit and talk in a huddled group in the small room just off the main hallway.

At the end of the hall, visitors must turn either left or right.

To the right lies an archway leading to a stairwell, a faint glow of light visible from below.

NightRaid is a guild consisting of ruffians, outlaws, ronins or those who have been abandoned, cut off, or outcasted in their pasts, with ambitions and similar ways of thinking. Daily we train to become physically and morally stronger, growing as a whole. NightRaiders think more spiritually and freely, strongly opposing officials/government and royalty's expectations. Our Story

We started off with a dark past in where we ran for bounties without any hesitation. We have slaughtered mercenaries who had rampaged through villages and indulging themselves with greed. Together we fight for what we need to survive, traveling day by day on chocobos to get somewhere with food, shelter, and light. At the beginning, our story starts off with the novel-like epic, known as Blood Parade. Recorded by the leader of NightRaid himself. Before NightRaid was born, Tetsuro was exiled from his childhood village, forced to leave his younger brother behind. Ever since, he has delved into books, teaching himself how to fight decently and learning how to survive. Eventually, he and his brother are reunited and embark on a journey throughout the continent. On their journey they meet several assassins, criminals, and outcasts with like-minded goals.
