RE: Skirt Thread - Telluride - 04-09-2015 Bards and monks get the best tops for casual wear, but they are all dungeon or raid drops. Gotta kill big bosses to look like... An everyday Joe or Jane. That does seem odd. Still.... I played an Assassin in Age of Conan. Worst....time... Ever trying to find good clothes. RE: Skirt Thread - Aya - 04-09-2015 Some Casual looks (at least, I think, Casual for a Fantasy MMO! I do wish there were more conservative tops, but have to work with what we have!) I'm referring to Aya's outfits in these shots (three of which I just took as examples, and then others are past screen shots), there are some good examples of other people wearing casual outfits in these shots too! I also realize that many of the pieces are used again and again, and there are obvious color-trends. But, what I'm trying to say is, you can mix-and-match with a handful of pieces using a wide variety of colors and accessories to create a nearly endless variety of casual outfits with just the few tools we have. I do definitely wish there was more variety, but we don't have to feel doomed to wearing the same thing over and over again unless we wear armor  What you will notice though is... only short skirts! Which is entirely the problem with our skirt options. RE: Skirt Thread - Marisa - 04-09-2015 God damn that midlander gear! I just... I just want to wear it on a miqo'te. Why is that too much to ask? RE: Skirt Thread - Cliodhna Eoghan - 04-09-2015 i love the hemp bottoms cause they look close to a skirt bit i haaaaate those stupid leggins >| i need more skirts without those legs or at least let me dye the foestriker's skirt RE: Skirt Thread - Aya - 04-09-2015 (04-09-2015, 02:02 PM)Ryoko Wrote: God damn that midlander gear! RE: Skirt Thread - SicketySix - 04-09-2015 I love FFXIV skirts.... /em looks up all the skirts when everyone bends over. #datstalkerdoh RE: Skirt Thread - Steel Wolf - 04-09-2015 The bigger problem I have with the skirts--in fact, most of the fabric options in this game--is that they don't really...flap. Or flow. They all animate like they've been drowning in starchy water. RE: Skirt Thread - SicketySix - 04-09-2015 The mage type robs are the worst, only the bottom moves/stretches out to simulate walking, but looks absolutely atrocious to me. Holy moly. What a great set of outfits. I need to work harder on my wardrobe... RE: Skirt Thread - Faye - 04-09-2015 ![]() As far as knee length skirts go, demon skirt of healing, or casting. For disciples of magic only... but for any gender! Anywho, I want more "Little House on the Prairie" skirts. More big fluffy skirts, please. Hoop skirts. Bustles. I need to rock my Victorian pride if I'm to be a proper lady. I can't rightly wear pants or display my ankles. RE: Skirt Thread - Ette - 04-09-2015 -BURSTS INTO THREAD HOLDING VARIOUS SCREENSHOTS AND WHEEZING- I HEARD WE WERE TALKING ABOUT RP FASHION. LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT RP FASHION. I'll admit though, some of these are dresses. One of these isn't even supposed to be a dress! I'm pretty happy with the glade tunic for a modest length dress/skirt for the time being but I would also like MORE. RE: Skirt Thread - TheLastCandle - 04-09-2015 I demand kilts! RE: Skirt Thread - Seriphyn - 04-09-2015 Aya is absolutely right. The 'crafting' clothing in this game basically being commoner clothing is great. In other MMOs, there are like...no casual clothing. I'd like to see more, too, but the something we have now is better than nothing! |
