My boyfriend is visiting the week that Heavensward comes out.  Sadly, this means I won't be grinding my way to 60...immediately, anyway.

I'm not really changing anything. I'll likely be playing a fair amount during the early access weekend, but that's not much different than my normal play schedule.

I play 14 because it's fun and relaxing. I don't have any desire to burn through content. Years of playing WoW that way made me really lose my appreciation for the game and the world, and ultimately lead me to not enjoying it anymore. I did that with 14, too, when it relaunched for 2.0 and it burnt me out very quickly.

So this time? Going to take it slow, enjoy the quests, trying out new classes, and take my sweet time with everything.

I specifically took my entire weeks vacation time for this expansion. I have from the friday of early release off till the next friday off. Gonna hit that expac so hard.

I tried to do the above but was told I couldn't since it's high season.

So, uh I'll just be nolifing it on the weekend, and even then I got the bi-weekly to attend. ugh.

He sounds like an incredibly self-centred person. I'd remove him from your life right away and remind yourself of your true priorities. FFXIV is all you need.

First of all... Poopsocks? Ew! XD

Second, I am so ready. I'm just worried the server is going to break and there will be endless queues and errors all weekend due to the server capacity overload that'll surely happen.

This is me also.

Oh and I'll probably be going "Why didn't I make a placeholder character when I had the chance?!" while constantly refreshing the server list in the character creator. :) That part is starting to turn into a holiday tradition for me now.
Unless they release naming conventions in time for me to make one before patch, in which case I will be very happy. :D

I'm just hoping that there wont be loads of server issues. Early access may be pretty bearable but once the floodgates open during the official launch...

I'm free all day Friday but I'm likely visiting family on Saturday which means I won't be able to play most of that day. Sunday I'm free and then I'm busy Monday morning but have the rest of the day available.

So all in all I'm pretty pleased with my schedule for the early access period.

Once Early Access hits I have a full week off until the 29th.

That will very likely be the unhealthiest week of my life.

Girlfriend is coming over Thursday evening (to use my better internet connection and to bunker down with me) and we'll be asleep early to be up for Friday, which I have off work. I have off the entirety of the following week off for vacation time.
I should note - this is my first ever paid vacation, and it's being used on Heavensward.
